Located on the 103rd floor of the former Sears Tower, Skydeck Chicago provides visitors with breathtaking views of four states. The unique viewing platform The Ledge lies 4ft outside the building dimensions and offers brave visitors unrivaled views over the city. With museum-quality exhibits and a 60-second ride up to the 103rd floor, Skydeck Chicago is a must-see attraction in Chicago.
So, there I was in Chicago, with just a day left to explore. I had heard about the Skydeck at Willis Tower, but I hadn't really planned on visiting. I thought, why not give it a shot? It's one of those things tourists do, right? And wow, am I glad I went for it. The moment you step onto the Skydeck, it's like the whole city opens up in front of you. You're way up there, on the 103rd floor, and the view is just mind-blowing.But here's the real showstopper – the glass box, also known as The Ledge. When you step out into it, there's this thrilling, almost surreal feeling. You're suspended in the air, with Chicago's streets and buildings far below. It's exhilarating and a little bit nerve-wracking, but in the best way possible. You're literally standing over the city, with nothing but glass under your feet!I spent a good amount of time just soaking in the views. You can see for miles – the skyscrapers, Lake Michigan, and on a clear day, even beyond the city limits. It's not just a tourist attraction; it's an experience that gives you a whole new perspective on Chicago. It's a must-do for sure, especially if you want to feel the heartbeat of the city from an entirely unique vantage point.Honestly, it was the perfect end to my Chicago trip. It’s one of those experiences that makes you appreciate the beauty and scale of a city. So, if you ever find yourself in Chicago with some time to spare, definitely check out the Skydeck. It's a memory you'll cherish long after you're back on solid ground.

Came here during my first trip to Chicago definitely worth it buy your tickets in advance. Mine were $44 but I would also recommend the expedited entry if you’re not open to learning more about Chicago, but the twisted turns that I went through to get to the top were pretty interesting and very informative! I wanna give a shout out to Liliana for taking my photo. You only have 90 seconds to get all the photos you want and I came alone but it was OK because someone will assist you. The view above was absolutely incredible.

Definitely something you need to do in Chicago, specially if you buy the city pass. First, I got reservation for a Friday night but that they it was super cloudy and the ticket booth girl recommended me to reschedule the tour because I was not going to be able to see the view, which was the best suggestion and very nice of her to offer me that, she made the reschedule on the ticket for the next day and definitely it was the best, it was very sunny and not cloudy at all. I was able to be at the ledge, where you can take the famous picture. I really had a fun time and there are bathrooms available, a little shop inside as well, and the view it blows your mind.

Great place . Family had fun. Very informative as you walk to the elevator. Suggest buying tickets online. Cheaper then on site. Great views. Not very busy on a Tuesday. Highly recommend if your visiting Chicago.

This place is inside the mall. Again pay for parking. We bought our tickets on Groupon which were cheaper. There is a really awesome informative museum before you get to the actual sky deck. There’s a gift shop then you get to the sky deck. There is a line and they take your pictures you can also take pictures but they only give you 60 minutes then you can still go back in line and do another 60 minutes you can go as many times as you want.Overall it was a cool experience you have a 360 of the entire city.

Great place for tourists and for a once in a lifetime experience. It's a really great view, but it is also $50 a person. If that price tag along with the $45 dollars for each photo set they take (optional) is no issue, it'll be a very memorable experience!
Khue H — Google review
It is a great place to visit in Chicago, so many art installations even before you go up to see the nice view. Now they added 90-seconds rule to take photos on balconies, which is not really nice at all… the rest is good

Absolutely Wonderful Experience! The museum that you go through prior to entering the elevator to the 103 floor, is Extremely Interesting and Very Well Thoughtout! The view from the 103 Floor are Amazingly Breathtaking and Beautiful! And the Skydeck Ledges are totally Awesome and give a Very Unique View hanging out over the edge of the building! And the staff is very friendly and helpful!Totally Recommend!

Felt nice! Reservation needed definitely, for the better experience.I came here by using the citypass. But to be really honest, I wouldn’t spend my money for this specifically. It felt very short and not much to enjoy. Just only few windows and that was pretty much it.
Minseo K — Google review
The experience is great, but I would not recommend this to anyone who genuinely fears heights. The museum before the elevator ride was a lot of fun - unique photo ops and many facts about Chicago's history. The elevator ride was quick, and the views from the top floor were beautiful. You really can see the whole city! The queue for the Ledge on a weekday wasn't bad - 5-minute wait for the two of us. As much as I tried, I only stood on the Ledge for about five seconds before getting vertigo. My husband had a wonderful experience and loved the look-down. I'm not saying this isn't worth it, but for someone with a fear of heights, I think the ticket price is too high.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Skydeck Chicago is an absolute must-visit! 🏙️✨ The views from the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower are simply out of this world. You can see the entire city and beyond, making it a breathtaking experience. 🌟 The Ledge, with its glass floor, is thrilling and offers a unique photo opportunity that you won't find anywhere else. 📸😲 The elevators are incredibly fast, whisking you up to the Skydeck in just **60 seconds**—you'll feel your ears pop on the way up! 🚀🗽Here are a few fun facts:- **Height**: The Willis Tower stands at **1,450 feet (443 meters)** tall, making it one of the tallest buildings .- **The Ledge**: Extends out 4.3 feet from the building, giving you a heart-pounding view !- **Public Viewing Area**: It's the highest public viewing area in the United States. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall enjoyment. 😊 Whether you're a local or a visitor, Skydeck Chicago provides an unforgettable view of the Windy City. Highly recommend! 🚀🗽 🌆✨🎉

This is a "have to" when visiting Chicago! We went up 94 floors in like 30 seconds!! The views are amazing. It's like being the camera on the drone! This was an event with the City Pass...definitely recommend!

Skydeck Chicago offers an unforgettable panoramic view of the Windy City from 1,353 feet above the ground. The iconic glass ledge, extending out over the cityscape, provides a thrilling sensation of floating above the streets. While the experience can be a bit pricey, the breathtaking vistas and the unique opportunity to feel connected to the city from such a height make it well worth the visit. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or simply appreciate stunning views, Skydeck Chicago is a must-do for any trip to the city.

Skydeck Chicago is truly a must-see attraction! It offers an absolutely stunning way to take in the beauty of the city from above. The views are breathtaking and give you a whole new appreciation for Chicago’s skyline.I visited on a busy Saturday and highly recommend getting the expedited pass. It made a world of difference, allowing us to breeze right through the lines and enjoy the experience without any hassle. If you’re in Chicago, don’t miss out on this incredible experience—and definitely consider the expedited pass to make the most of your visit!
VJ F — Google review
First of all, the view is incredible, so if you're only going to be there once I guess it's worth splurging to see.For this review, I am comparing a similar experience I recently had at the Seattle space needle.Pros / Better than the Needle:1. The line to get on the elevator was more akin to one of those busy amusement park rides with a museum built into the line. This was a genius stroke of brilliance, as it gives people something to do rather than just stand in a line.2. The gift shop was well stocked and was conveniently located.Cons / Needle did it better:1. Cost. This one is odd though because the price for regular admission was higher for civilians, but free for Military. So it was actually a pro for me since I got in free.2. Bathrooms. The restrooms were not situated in a very convenient place and the Men's room was not very clean and the ventilation needs improvement.3. Viewing windows. They were dirty and smudged all over the place. Luckily I am tall and I was able to reach up above the smudges to get clear shots of the city-scape.

Amazingly awesome. It’s a must do when in Chicago. We laid down on the glass and took selfies looking to the street. It was well worth the $100 admission. The views are incredible.
Chris L — Google review
Skydeck Chicago at Willis Tower was an amazing experience! The $33 general admission per person is well worth it. I recommend skipping the expedited ticket—it’s much more expensive, and the general admission line moves efficiently. Visiting in the late evening is a must to catch the stunning night views of Chicago. Standing on the glass deck was thrilling, and they give you 90 seconds to capture your photos, which was just enough. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience and a must-visit
Neeraj N — Google review
Great experience! Got my tickets via city pass and had an expedited process. The ledge was such a cool experience! I wasn't a huge fan of the way the elevator was packed super tight with people but otherwise the trip was quick!
Ellie G — Google review
Very fun experience. Much better than going to the Hancock tower. This one is taller, has the glass decks at no extra cost and felt a bit more organized. You must go and watch the sunset as the decks point in that direction.
Juan U — Google review
Went here using the city pass which I highly recommend! With city pass you get expedited entry which is really helpful if you go during a busy time like sunset on a weekend. The getting up/down was very quick (I'm amazed at how fast the elevators are!!). The view is amazing!! The ledge is unfortunately timed because it's so crowded but you can get some good photos of you plan ahead. Stepping on the glass was scarier than I thought I'd be!! We went on a Saturday and there were at least 2 engagements on the sky deck

A sculpture of a bean located in Millennium Park in Chicago, Cloud Gate is an easily Instagrammable spot that can be photographed from close up or further back with the skyline of Chicago as the backdrop.
Visiting Cloud Gate, or "The Bean," in Chicago's Millennium Park was a bit of a letdown this time around because it was blocked off due to construction. It's usually such a fun spot for taking photos and marveling at the city’s reflections on its shiny surface. Even from a distance, though, it still caught my eye. Thankfully, Millennium Park still had plenty to offer with the Crown Fountain and Lurie Garden, making the visit worthwhile. Just a heads up: check the status of attractions beforehand, as ongoing work might limit access.

Nestled in the heart of Millennium Park, Cloud Gate, affectionately known as "The Bean," is a stunning piece of public art that truly shines. Its reflective surface transforms the vibrant skyline of Chicago into a stunning panorama, inviting visitors to capture the perfect selfie or simply take in the beauty around them.My girlfriend and I decided to spend a lovely afternoon exploring the park. The Bean is not just a sight to behold; it’s an experience. As we walked around it, the reflections created a kaleidoscope of images that made for some great photos. The playful interactions with the sculpture brought out our inner child, and we couldn't resist the urge to “flick the bean” in the most lighthearted way possible! The park itself is a wonderful place to stroll. With its lush greenery, beautiful pathways, and the impressive backdrop of the city, it provides a perfect setting for a romantic day out.Later that night, our playful spirits continued as I "flicked her bean" in a cheeky nod to our earlier adventures at the Bean. The humor of the day and the beauty of the park made for a memorable experience that we’ll cherish for a long time.Overall, Cloud Gate is a must-visit when in Chicago. Whether you're there for the art, the reflections, or a romantic stroll, it’s sure to leave you with a smile. Just remember to bring your sense of fun!

The surrounding area in Millennium Park is beautiful too, making it a great spot to just hang out and enjoy the city. If you're visiting Chicago, you definitely have to stop by and see it in person!

The Millennium Park looks awesome and it's very clean. I would've loved to go during daylight, but it was a great experience nonetheless. We went to grab a Deep Dish at Giordano's and then we went to have a walk to burn some of the hard earned calories. We were there close to 11pm and there were relatively lots of people, but nothing compared to the amount of people you see in other pictures during the day time. There's no free parking, impossible to find a place above, so we ended up parking at the Millennium parking garage, so it was just under the Millennium Park so it was fantastic. I recommend stopping by whenever you visit Windy City.

Located in Millennium Park on N. Michigan Ave. and E. Randolph St. We were visiting Chicago and specifically wanted to visit Cloud Gate (the "Bean" sculpture). We visited in the evening and were not sure we'd have a good experience without the sun out, but we were wrong. The view was gorgeous with all the buildings lit up. It was breathtaking being there and experiencing its many mirrored sides. This is a must stop for all tourists.

Cloud Gate, often referred to as "The Bean," is a fascinating and iconic piece of public art in Chicago. If you've never seen it before, it's definitely worth a stroll past. Recently, the sculpture has been resurfaced, which enhances its already impressive reflective surface. However, it’s a bit disappointing to see it smeared with handprints and marks from the countless visitors. The area is incredibly crowded, with people everywhere trying to snap the perfect photo. Be prepared for a bit of a wait if you want a picture without too many strangers in the background. Additionally, getting into Millennium Park, where Cloud Gate is located, involves going through a security checkpoint, which can slow things down a bit.Despite these minor inconveniences, Millennium Park itself is stunning. The beautifully maintained grounds and the various attractions make it a lovely place to visit. If you're in Chicago, taking a walk to see Cloud Gate and enjoying the park is a worthwhile experience.

Beautiful sculpture with a magnificent capability of light reflection. Truly awe inspiring staring into it, and seeing the sky reflected back to you. I recently visited Cloud Gate, known as The Bean (I just love that!) and it was just as beautiful as I imagined. Although it’s often surrounded by tourists, this actually adds to the charm. The reflections are amazing, capturing both the city and the lively surroundings. I loved seeing people gather to take photos and enjoy the experience together. I don't think it would be as enjoyable alone.Just a tip: if it's a hot day, remember there's no real shade around Cloud Gate, so be prepared with a hat or sunscreen if you plan to stay for a while. I highly recommend visiting, even if it’s just for a few minutes!

Cool attraction in Chicago. Cloud Gate (The Bean) seems to be a destination just to check a box.It is a very neat work of art, but you see visitors more interested in the reflection or just being there vs the marvel of what it is and how it came to be there. All cool. Good place to visit and get a different view of downtown.

In Millennium Park, the Bean is hands down one of the most impressive public art pieces I have ever seen in the world. Fun but profound, I am so glad we went. Sure it was busy but the people add to the experience of it all, along with the buildings who are reflected so brilliantly. If you are in Chicago, GO, like now!

Millennium Park is an awe-inspiring public space in Chicago that features an impressive collection of world-class architecture and sculptures. The park is home to the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, one of the world's largest outdoor sculptures by British artist Anish Kapoor and Cloud Gate, one of the world's largest pieces of public sculpture.
Pretty cool place to hangout or walk around, my favorite spot is where the flower garden area (as you can see in the photos) so honestly if your looking for a nice semi quiet outdoor place id recommend here. Tourists or not give this place a walk around just don't waste your money on a 4-5 dollar singular taco there are way cheaper and tastier places that sell that let alone the dozens of restaurants within the city

The park is quiet and well kept. We were lucky enough to see a concert being performed. Unfortunately, the bean was blocked by a construction fence. I don't know why they would do construction during the Summer on one of the city's best attractions. It is quite disappointing.

A very relaxed and peaceful experience in the heart of Chicago. Lot of green spaces with skyscrapers just behind, the amazing The Bean and, specifically and uniquely, Millenium Park is opened in the sense that you can enter the park from almost all directions, even directly from the street as there are almost no official "gates", which, in my opinion, truly display the open spirit and minset of Chicago and the States as a whole.

The park is really nice and the cloud gate is the biggest attraction they have, it might be a little crowded because of this and hence getting a parking spot is a little difficult. Right at the entrance you can find food and drinks stalls at the lower level. The park is accessible by wheelchair.

The most memorable and interesting thing that we saw in Chicago was this Bean sculpture. This is a public park so it’s open to everyone. There are lots of restaurants around this park so you won’t go hungry 🤤 😂.The Chicago Architecture River boat was also great with many information and history.

I love this park and city. It is a beautiful place to visit in summer if you are not good with the cold weather. But also, I adore the landscaping in winter because the snow covers the buildings and it is amazing. Only you should bring with you an appropriate winter jacket.

We were so excited to see The Bean when we came for a visit to Chicago! The park is beautiful, well kept, clean and huge. It was crowded but didn't feel that way because the place is so big. Nice place to visit . When we visited it had a lot of security . Since it was a weekend the bean was crowded. I wish I would have dressed my kids to be able to get wet, since there is a place with big video that throws water and is nice and big for the kids to enjoy. Also if you cross the bridge there is also a nice park . It had many different spots with activities for kids .

It didn’t change my life, but paying a visit to the bean is just an iconic thing you have to tick off your list when visiting Chicago. The skyline reflected on the structure is pretty cool, and there’s always people around to take your picture. If you want peace and quiet and the chance to whisper your secrets into the bean in isolation, go at sunrise.

Great service and amazing staff. Was able to get in free for being military. My girlfriend is an artist so it was great to bring her and let her run all around giving me the rundown. Lots of art variety! The Georgia O’Keefe set was nice as well as the in house snack/beverage bar. Looking forward to a future visit to explore what we didn’t have time to

Super beautiful museum! Great history and art pieces from all different periods. The architecture of the building was just as beautiful. The layout of the museum was very well done, so you never felt like you were on top of anyone. It felt very peaceful at all times and loved how modern the museum felt. Would definitely go back! Spent about 4 hours here to really take time to enjoy, you can probably do it in 3 hours. So cool seeing the art from artist such as Picasso, Andy Warhol, Monet, Georgia O’Keeffe, etc. Beautiful pieces and the museum had more than I was even expecting!

Absolutely worth a visit! We spent approximately four hours roaming around, and taking in multiple exhibits. The art on display is both stunning and educational at the same time. A great idea for a day when you don't have much planned, and can take the time to properly take in all the Institute offers.

Gorgeous architecture and an amazing collection. We were able to walk the whole place in a couple of hours. The Monet collection is outstanding! Do not bring backpacks, you’ll have to leave them before entering. Liquids must be in a clear plastic bag at all times. No flash photography is allowed.

I wasn't someone who was typically interested in museums or understood the essence of art, but I decided to visit this one while attending an event in Chicago. I must say, it was grand and spacious, with an extensive collection. Many of the paintings left me amazed by the creativity of human expression. The ticket price was also quite affordable, around $26 for students, if I remember correctly—it had been two months since my visit.

Always enjoy taking a trip to this amazing place. I was able to bring a class here for a trip/ tour, and sure enough we received what felt like VIP treatment. Great exhibitions and outstanding curators. Highly recommend

From the moment you walk in, it’s an experience. The larger than life ceilings make you feel in awe of the space from the start. It’s a place you can’t just see in one day and take in the beauty and the collections of art. I spent a whole day at the museum as an out of town visitor from Los Angeles and I have zero complaints. I highly recommend and I hope you take the time to come in and really see it. I will definitely come back and visit.

It had been many years since my last visit, and I had forgotten just how amazing this world-class museum was. It was difficult to see all we wanted to see in one day, and I know we missed quite a bit. We saw some famous pieces and found new treasures to enjoy. If I lived nearby, I would be there all the time.

Have visited many times and always something to discover! Great collections of both classic and modern paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, armor, miniatures, and so on. They usually have 2+ special exhibits as well, often of well-known artists, which are thoughtful and revealing. The cafe is nice for a break and lovely fountain-side courtyard dining is available in nice weather. Also take time to observe the sculpture and fountains outside the museum, and of course it’s in the heart of all the sites of Chicago.Don’t miss it!

The Chicago Institute of Art is, without a doubt, the best art museum I’ve ever visited. The way the pieces are curated is nothing short of perfection, making each exhibit a joy to explore. The staff at the museum were incredibly kind and welcoming. I had a delightful conversation with a lady and gentleman in the gift shop about my love for the teal lion logo—they were both so jovial, which added to the experience. The museum itself is massive, so be sure to plan for a few hours to take it all in. And a word to the wise—wear comfortable walking shoes, as there’s a lot to see and you’ll be on your feet for a while. If you’re an art lover or just someone who appreciates a well-curated collection, the Chicago Institute of Art is a must-visit.

The Art Institute of Chicago should be on every art lover's bucket list. With an impressive collection spanning thousands of years and diverse cultures, there is something to captivate every visitor. The galleries are a particular highlight, featuring iconic works by artists like Monet, Seurat, and Van Gogh. The museum's architecture is beautiful as well, adding to the overall refined and elegant atmosphere. Knowledgeable docents are available to provide great context and insights. While it can be overwhelming to see everything in one visit, I highly recommend taking your time to wander and truly immerse yourself in the museum's remarkable offerings. A true gem in the heart of Chicago.

I am interested in museums and this was my first visit here. It is located downtown close to the millennium park. It has a walkway connecting to the park. It has two iconic displays. The hall where Swami Vivekananda addressed the Parliament of world religions in 1893 and the trading room of stock exchange. They had different rooms on different themes. We liked the ones on American art, miniatures of house interiors around the world, and sculptures. The cafeteria had good choices and service was good. It was crowded during lunch time. They had a separate members lounge with complementary coffee. They also had some food and drinks.

What an amazing museum! Some really famous classic paintings along with some other great art. There are very few other museums in the world that have such a vast collection of works of art that make you feel like you’re seeing so many famous pieces.Admission is pretty expensive at $32 for non residents. I didn’t feel ripped off as what you get it worth the price, but it’s a bit unfortunate they charge as much as they do. I guess those famous art pieces come with a price tag too! Regardless I would recommend visiting no matter how long you have in Chicago as it doesn’t get much better. The museum is so big navigating it can be a little difficult at times, especially if it’s as busy as it was when we went. There’s multiple different places to get food or drinks if you want, and there’s a decent gift shop inside as well. Make sure you get a map when you come in, and check your coat. If you bring water they make you take it in with a bag, so be aware of that before you go.

They have all the best collections that you can ever imagine. One day is not enough for art lovers. You may come since it opens. It would be really nice if they can extend opening hour from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm to 9:00 am - 6:00pm. Staff are helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed it here. I will definitely come back.

Loved it, there was so much to see. My favorite areas were the miniature rooms, Asian art sections, and medieval room. The garden outside the museum is beautiful and meditative. It’s a good place to rest your legs after a lot of walking. I also really appreciated the water bottle refilling stations inside the museum.I got tickets online ahead of time and there was no wait to enter on Saturday early afternoon.

We went on July 4th and got there around 10:36am but they open at 11:00am so that’s why we waited a little bit. While we waited in line for doors to open, the line got really long so might be a good idea to buy tickets in advance unless you get there early. This place was massive and had so many amazing pieces of art! We ate at the restaurant inside and it was delicious! I don’t usually complain about things but just trying to be honest in this review. Most of the staff wasn’t very friendly at all. The lady I purchased tickets from didn’t explain anything about them or the special exhibit that’s extra even though I asked. She would roll her eyes and just handed me my tickets. I saw and heard other staff being rude to other guests too. Out of the ones we interacted with, only a couple were friendly and helpful. Other than that, the exhibit itself was great!

This is one of the best museums in the country and I saw less than 1/2 of it! I spent about 4 hours here and mainly kept my activities to second floor. We started in the modern wing which was perfect for me. The map itself lists highlights so you can find them by gallery number. I love the idea experience of seeing images I've seen in print hundreds of times in my life but then being just a few feet from the original. Seeing "the old guitarist" by Picasso was truly an emotional experience for me. The textures, brush strokes, additions to the canvas are all right in your face and not on a flat printed page in a text book.

Amazing museum with so much to see. Every time I visit, I see something I missed before. They also have great special exhibits, so there is always something new. I suggest buying tickets online ahead of time. You can pick up a brochure when you enter the museum that recommends the highlights if you only have a limited amount of time, but you will want to see more! It is less crowded early in the day. There is also a lovely garden to the right of the main entrance. It's been closed on my last few visits. I'm hoping to see it open again.

I LOVE the Ryan’s learning center to a great extent. There were so many learning activities to engage in for my boys so much so that we went there two days in a row when visiting Chicago. My kid even said that he would go there every single day! I’ll for sure recommend my friends to check it out when opportunities arise.

A meticulous and thought-provoking experience meandering through this renowned museum. All staff and volunteers were very friendly, and the layout allows for one to go in any direction. Navy Pier is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Chicago with rides, restaurants, shops, and more. The pier juts into Lake Michigan and has an endless amount of attractions for all ages. It's a great place to spend a day with family.
Very nice and chill pier to take a walk or chill around. And there's a very warm court with a lot of options of foods. The restroom is also very clean, the other side is for cars parking and drop-off so I would recommend to walk around. Just go straight and come back straight would be a nicer solution.

I’ve come here almost every time I visit Chicago and I love it even more ever time! The last time I came I got to ride the Ferris wheel and the views from there were just incredible with the nice sunny day and the water! I love the environment of the pier with clearly being near water but also having an amazing view of the city as well!

The Navy Pier is basically a lakefront giant fairground, fun park and entertainment venue. There is a huge hotel, The Sable, on site, a children’s museum/playground and many restaurants as well as a theatre. It was not open on the Tuesday I visited though many of the cafes and restaurants were open. The chief attraction is the Ferris Wheel which is beautifully lit up at night. In a nice day this would be a fun place for a family outing. Cruises are also available from the lake front.

I went and visited the Navy Pier. The air was very windy and cold coming of the water. The history behind the pier is very interesting and they have historical markings everywhere to read. They have an indoor “mall” area with shops and eatery’s. At sunset the views looking back at the city skylines are pretty spectacular.

Go before noon and you'll easily find parking inside the pier. There are plenty of restaurants and shops the closer you get to the museum. Not so much as you go further out towards the hotels at the end of the pier. Lots of boat tour companies located on the south side of the pier, and they're organized well. Great place to take your family or hang out with friends.

This was by far my favorite place to view the skyline, better than views from boats. We spent hours watching the changes in the colors of the buildings as the sun progressed. Gorgeous, memorable day to be sure!

Very nice and clean pier. Most of the activities are inside with a variety of shops and food options. The one side of the pier on the outside has a small place to walk behind all the buildings but that's all. Everything is confined to one side. The ferris wheel was nice to see a better view of the city. The wheel cars were clean and stable.

This was my first time to Chicago and I have to say that walking the navy Pier was breathtaking. The view over lake Michigan absolutely gorgeous. Seeing all the familys taking photos with the anchor and just enjoying themselves brought a smile to my face. There were so many shops and restaurants to go to and eat at it was hard to choose which one. They allow you to carry your alcohol while on the pier that was pretty cool. When we went they where having a festival with live music. The attractions where not badly priced either I will definitely be going back.

I absolutely adored the pier! Despite it not being peak season, strolling along the pier was a delight. The bustling ambiance, with cafes bustling with activity, added to the charm. It's the perfect spot to unwind, take in the scenery, and even embark on a boat ride from the pier. A truly enchanting experience!

I enjoyed stopping by this place during a recent trip to Chicago. They have a lot of shops, restaurants, and other attractions that the entire family can do during a visit. We spent a few hours here just looking around and visiting different stores. There are some great views of the lake and surrounding area from the pier. They have fishing available, if that is something that interests you. We did the Flyover during our trip and it was fun.The only reason I deducted a star is because while I believe it is a nice tourist stop, it seems like just a mall when it is all said and done. There are some great things about it and I would recommend a stop but I also understand why some would choose skipping this stop as well. Overall, a good spot though.

Extending out onto Lake Michigan, Navy Pier offers plenty in the way of family-friendly entertainment. it is located a few blocks east of The Magnificent Mile and is open daily year-round. The first thing you'll spot once you set foot on the pier is the towering Ferris wheel (which stands 196 feet tall). originally opened in 1916 as an amusement area and shipping facility but is now one of Chicago's most popular tourist attractions.I was sitting here facing rough wind coming from Michigan Lake and thinking - is there any place like this that offers this kind of variety... tons of restaurants, a food park, Beer Garden, Ferris wheel, yacht/boat tour, museum, live performance - everything at the same place. Navy Pier offers something to every age group.Once the kids have had their thrill rides, you can spend some time cruising the Chicago River on a sightseeing or speedboat tour or spend a few hours exploring the Chicago Children's Museum.Visitors can also watch a film at the 3D Imax Theater, watch actors perform the classics at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, visit Crystal Gardens, a one-acre, six-story, indoor botanical garden, or enjoy themselves at a variety of shops or grab a drink at the Navy Pier Beer Garden.Be sure to check Navy Pier's website for a list of events: Concerts are often held here, and from Memorial Day to Labor Day (as well as New Year's Eve),Tip: go there on Wednesday and Saturday nights. impressive fireworks displays light up the skies these days.you would definitely appreciate Navy Pier's picturesque water views and Chicago skyline.

I visited Navy Pier recently, and it was more than I expected! There’s so much to explore with fun little shops, fantastic waterfront bars, and restaurants. The views of the Chicago skyline are simply incredible. You can even hop on a boat for exciting tours. It's perfect for families too, with plenty of space for kids to run around and play. Whether you walk the length indoors or enjoy the fresh air outside, it’s a great spot to spend a day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, fun, and scenic beauty!

One of my favorite spots to hang out in Chicago. Between the architecture boat tours and the "Fly Over" exhibit, I always find something new & fun to do here. I particularly enjoyed the local seafood offerings. The shops and kiosks are perfect for picking up unique souvenirs and gifts💙One of the highlights is the Centennial Wheel, which offers a bird’s-eye view of the city and lake🫶 It's especially beautiful at sunset. The pier also hosts numerous events and live performances, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. So much fun!Parking is expensive however an Uber of public transportation is always another option. We got on the Ferris wheel no wait and they even take your picture 😊There are so many shops, restaurants and different activities you can buy. A lot of great places for pictures! We tried to rent a tandem bike - however we were there too late and weren’t able to.We are from out of town, next time we go to the will make sure we get there and earlier so we can explore more.It is a safe place as well.

This place has a lot of various shopping vendors and food restaurants, perfect for families. I was intrigued to meet a Native American vendor who handmade art and jewelry. I bought several items from him and also grabbed some garrets popcorn on my visit. Also stopped by the cartoonist and got a portrait drawn. I had a great time and got to take awesome photos of the beautiful artwork and meet various vendors there who were so kind and welcoming. I will make another trip in the future because Chicago is an amazing city like no other.

We really enjoy going to Navy Pier. As locals we probably go a couple times a year. They have tons of food and drinks options. You could probably spend half the day here easily. We went during the Chicago Air and Water show. The views were perfect! There is honestly something for everyone here. Most restaurants have outdoor seating. The Farris wheel is a must. If you can take a city bus or get dropped off by a car sharing service. Be aware of the Taxi cabs. They will just quote you a flat price instead of using the meter. I feel they take advantage of the tourists. You don't need any tickets to go into Navy Pier.

Our visit to Navy Pier in Chicago, IL was absolutely fantastic! We had an amazing time and decided to ride the iconic Ferris wheel on St. Patrick's Day. The experience was truly unforgettable, especially with the downtown Chicago river dyed green for the occasion. The festive atmosphere, combined with the stunning views from the Ferris wheel, made for a magical and memorable day. Navy Pier never fails to impress with its charm and attractions, and we can't wait to visit again for another unforgettable experience. The lively energy of the St. Patrick's Day celebrations added an extra layer of excitement to our visit, making it even more special. From the vibrant sights to the joyful atmosphere, Navy Pier truly shines as a must-visit destination in Chicago. We also were able to charge our Tesla in the Navy Pier garage, which was a fantastic convenience. Being able to book a parking spot ahead of time was the best decision we made, as it ensured a seamless and stress-free experience from start to finish. The ease of charging our electric vehicle and the convenience of pre-booking a parking spot added to the overall positive experience at Navy Pier. We look forward to creating more cherished memories at this iconic location in the future. Thank you, Navy Pier, for always providing a wonderful time and an extraordinary experience that leaves us eager for our next visit.

This isn't like the location I've visited in Maryland. The customer service was excellent. However, It's dark and not welcoming. The machines are old, and I'm praying my bank debit card is okay because their ATM machines were malfunctioning, multiple ones. I was so excited to visit this casino based on my visit to the other. It was quite disappointing. My party left and we went to Hard Rock Casino. We didn't win big, but it's brighter, it has newer machines, and the energy is far more exciting.

The smoke smell is terrible all throughout the venue. Open smoking inside the building is allowed. Making it extremely tough for those who can't bear the stench, don't want to inhale the second/third hand smoke, or are pregnant. Won't return solely for this reason. I had come here with my husband for a show and could not even check out the casino because of the terrible smell everywhere.

This place was great all around. We showed up early for the concert and did a little gambling because it was my son's first time in a casino. We didn't win anything but we had a pretty good time. The only thing I really didn't like was smoking was allowed and I'm asthmatic and even in the non-smoking areas it was kind of hard for me to breathe. I wasn't expecting that. I did not know ahead of time that smoking was allowed inside the building. The concert was amazing. It was a great location. The perfect size security was amazing. I accidentally brought in pepper spray on my keychain but they were really cool and let me take it back to my car without giving me any hassle. Overall if I could give 10 stars I would.

I don't go often, but I do like going on a Saturday between 2pm-4pm. It's not as busy, an older crowd (my people). I went in with a winning ticket that I didn't cash from 12/30/23. I inserted it into the slots. The machine rejected it, but it got stuck when coming out. I had to call for service. The young lady retrieved it, looked at it, and told me to cash it in at the cage. Took it to the cage, Brandi (short blond hair) looked at it and told me, "This is no good, you only have 90 days to use." I told her to look at the 12/30 date at the bottom and that it was still good. She got quiet, keyed in some information, and replied, "barely." She then gave me my money. I thought to myself, don't let the grey hair fool you, I work with dates and numbers all day every day. I pay attention to that. I thought to myself, is this her scam? Does she tell Seniors their tickets are no good and keep them for herself? I didn't get a good vibe from her. Well, that's just me.

Horseshoe has scaled back A LOT, but unfortunately, it has been things that the consumers love.. Like the eatery should just go ahead and pack up and shut down. NO ONE wants a 30 dollar pizza, obviously right. When the pizzas were only $10 without add-ons, the lines were filled with customers. Jack Binion would be disappointed..The restaurants are only open certain days because No one wants to buy ridiculously priced food just to keep Horseshoe afloat.(No pun intended) It's clear that Ceasars does NOT care about consumers entertainment. Unless you love sports theirs a sports betting area that's empty every time I go.. Parking Lot smells like urine & loss. Hopefully, they bring back the integrity that once was. Just because it's a casino,no one has to waste money. however, I did enjoy a slice of pizza, and the restrooms are always immaculate. I also noticed their were no slot attendants or ladies offering a drink. No more Groups of officers making their presence known. It was sad to see all the changes.

This has always been my favorite place to just go by myself and have some me time. This place has gotten to be awful. You push for slot service and it takes forever and their excuse is always we're short staffed. I played on yesterday, I won't say how much(but oh boy), I left with nothing. Don't get me wrong I know it's a gambling place(chance you take) but those machines have gotten awful. I played one of the machines where you get all the spins, the most I got was 120 spins. I was on this machine from 12:30 to 6pm. You can't tell me that makes any sense. I don't want to hear you should have moved around. That was my fourth machine. This casino has gotten terrible with their jackpots. Even the crowd isn't the same anymore. People are always complaining about the machines. That's not good. I think my name is somewhere in their site to not let me win. I have never won over $1000 here, and I can count on one hand for that. I think I need to listen to other people and go somewhere else. You're not going to tell me that I'm wrong that these machines are not fixed in the casino favor a lot more than they use to be. 5 1/2 hours and only the highest number of spins were 120 and then it only paid me $56. Do better Horseshoe! You are losing people, and you can't tell me you're not. Awful...Well, you guys responded with the same response that you given everybody. So, sad that's how you feel about your patrons(visitors/customers). Just give everyone a general response. Thanks

I've been coming here for a few years with friends and family. We always have a great time. Only bring the cash you're willing to lose. The food and drinks are a bit pricey. The atmosphere is great! The people and the staff are friendly. The establishment is nice and clean. Sucks when the machine acts up and you need service it's like a 15 + min wait, but it's understandable they have lots of machines! I love playing roulette! Will continue to come back and recommend it. I definetly recommend checking out Four Winds too it's in Michigan City!

There really isn’t a reason to play here. Drink prices are much more than other casinos in the metro. Most food options are not open and Caesar’s properties will soon sell this location so your points will not carry over.

We hadn’t been here in years, but were excited to return as this place was a previous highlight on our way home from Chicago. We were eager to return for some fun. Sadly, it has fallen on hard times. Most of the dining was closed, most of the patrons looked depressed, and the odds on the slots were really not favorable. The one positive is that the workers were very friendly and helpful, but it was sad to see that it’s best days are behind it. While the house always wins, I’d wager that this place is heading for the glue factory.

We were at this venue for a concert. There were three lines to get in... the first one to check ID moved mind bogglingly slowly. Second was checking tickets, and third was to get into the concert hall. The 45+ minute delay was such a bummer because we ended up missing most of the opening band, one of the main reasons we were there. After the concert, they weren't letting people walk around to use the elevators to access the parking. Fortunately, someone who worked there relented when we explained that my friend had a broken foot. The parking garage was such a mess, too.. it took about an hour in our car to leave the garage. Honestly, it's one of my least favorite venues to date.

I understand they were busy, BUT you don't just walk around and take cash and not acknowledge THE PERSON STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! I ended up eating a slice of pizza that I got sick on and was in bed for 3 days! I was so sick from the cigarette smoke!!! My lungs felt like I smoked a carton of cigarettes in one hour!!!I do not recommend this Casino to ANYONE who doesn't smoke!!!

I am a big fan of the Albanese stuff and this place is a MUST visit for all the gummy or candy lovers 🍭🍬.The place is huge and they have a wide selection of products. Most of them were new products that you can't find in supermarkets. The staff were friendly and helped you all the time.My favorite the Freedom gummy bears and the True to fruit ones 🤤 .I really loved this place.Highly recommended 💯

What a charming factory store. Great selections of candy confections. The gummy bears are a classic. The chocolate selections are fantastic. Worth a detour to visit.

Went here for the first time a couple days ago. Had a great experience. Was a bit disappointed that there no longer is a chocolate fountain. Apparently there used to be one and I was excited to see that. The candy we got was good though. They have pastel mint nonpareils which are a favorite of mine and hard to find now a days! Got a few other things there too!

Such a neat store to stop in on! So many different options of candy and chocolates. They even have pick your own and add it into a bag, which charges by the pound. The place was very clean inside as well! Definitely stop by!

We stopped by here on our road trip completley on a whim, and we are so glad we did. They had a large parking lot and the outlet is really big. It was quite busy when we went, but since the space was so large, it wasn't overwhelming. There were so many staff members ready to help get us any of the goodies behind the glass. We got chocolate covered gummy bears. Worth a try! We also got chocolate covered animal crackers and should have gotten a bigger bag! Delicious. The check out queue moved fast, and had lots of goodies to look at while you waited. The bathrooms were clean and tidy.

It's a great place for some gummy bears, chocolate, and other treats. Prices are reasonably, and restrooms are clean.

If you have a sweet tooth or love gummy bears, a visit to the Albanese World's Best Gummy Bear factory and main store in Indiana, USA, is a must! This iconic destination, known worldwide for its delicious Gummy Bears, offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich history behind these beloved candies. The store itself is a candy lover's paradise, featuring a massive variety of treats, all available for tasting. Whether you're a kid or an adult, you'll be captivated by the flavors and quality. I highly recommend stopping by to experience the joy of Albanese candies firsthand!

If you are remotely in this area and like candy at all I highly recommend stopping in. I only found out about this because I was pulling off the highway for gas. I ended up buying several bags of different gummies, chocolate covered coffee beans, and a little sticker. Their bulk section is huge and has just about anything you could want. Their bagged gummies come in all different sizes for each kind so you can easily get as much or as little as you want. They have assorted other brand candies as well. They even have discount bags on their imperfect candies you can get a really good deal on.Despite being a bit busy and crowded, I found the line moved quickly. There's plenty of parking available right out front.

We have been here before, but of course we had to come again! Great place to go and pick out some candy! We love it here. It’s a good thing a we live a couple hours away. HahaGreat selection and very friendly people!

If you have a sweet tooth this is the place to go. They got it all. The staff is very friendly. You can buy your favorites by weight. At pretty good prices. They don't have just the candy they make in house too.

What’s more fun than a candy store? A factory candy store with fun theming, good candy and good prices. We drive by this place a few times a year and are happy we finally decided to stop. We love gummy candy and definitely we be back our next time through.

Amazing sales person Marsha serviced us, great experience. Enjoyed the samples and left with a bag full of chocolate delights. Try it, you'll love it.

If you are between the ages of 1 and 100, this is the place for you. If it is candy related, you can most likely get it here. Everything from gummi bears to chocolate covered fruits to hard candies and more. The chocolate fountain is gone sadly and the windows to see the factory floor are now off limit. The workers between you and the windows now dish out candies and give samples as needed. They now have shirts, water bottles, plush animals and more for sale.Prices are more than fair. Workers über friendly. Lots of free parking out front. Highly recommend you come here with someone who is responsible so you don't take out a second mortgage buying candy.

Mom of 5 review: my kids loved stopping here. It was very fun. There were big bags of goof-up gummies for $10 and lots of regular varieties, too.Clean store with big bathroomsGummy candy is 3.99 per poundThey give lots of free samples.

First time here. Really enjoyed it. The set up of the store is nice with a lot of displays and a large variety of candles, nuts, and other fun items. Plenty of parking and service was friendly and helpful. Would recommend. 👍🏽

As soon as you walk in it smells like gummy bears and they have many different options between chocolates, gummy candies, and candies you would find from the '60s. Workers are fast and you can get items prepackaged or freshly weighted.

We are a medium sized business we ordered around 10,000 pounds of gummy bears and many of the boxes were defective. After numerous of emails and tons of photo evidence of defective product they told us to get lost. So I’m sharing my experience so you don’t have same issue. They claim you only have 10 days claim defective orders. It’s impossible to filter 10,000 pound of gummy bears in 10 days. Photos attached.

Really fun candy store! More than just their own product but also lots of their own. Very fresh. Smells amazing. Very clean and open

So glad we stopped here!!! Highlight of my day! Julia is amazing and took fantastic care of our crew! She was just as sweet as the candy! She gave us plenty of samples, told us awesome facts about the factory, and was overall such a joy to spend time with! She made us feel so welcomed! Walked out with way more candy than I expected to because of her amazing service and knowledge! Definitely a must visit!

Indiana Dunes State Park
State park
Nature & Parks
Parks
Dune-lined park for hiking, swimming, fishing, cross-country skiing, birding & more, plus campsites.
We did the 3 Dunes Challenge on a cool, rainy morning. It was just a mist rain, but it kept us cool! The paths are well defined and in certain places, steep. The sand is soft, so when you take a step forward, you slide back a little because it's so soft. It is challenging but definitely doable! We are not the most fit people. We walk a lot, but being from Florida, we do not have a lot of hills or sand (except on the beaches!). It took us about 2 hours.
Dave C — Google review
This has to be my favorite state park I have ever been to, ever! The campground is great with electricity and spacious sites, pavilions are very nice and secluded, hiking trails were beautiful and fun, 3DC is a must do, the nature center was so well done and the beach is incredible! So close to Chicago via the South Shore Line allows a mid day Cubs game to fit into a quick trip. I can't wait to come back! The Indiana Dunes sweets and coffee trail was fun too!
Lindsey — Google review
Beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature. We were disappointed that swimming was prohibited on a warm August day with calm water. The changing rooms could use a spray down. The showers are also very out in the open which is awkward when you’re trying to clean sand out of certain parts of your body. But other than that it’s worth the drive. The beach was clean on a weekday and park attendants were friendly.
Dana P — Google review
I went here in December - I liked it. Nearly totally vacant and the walks were nice. Several info plaques to learn about the park and a great set of textures. I walked the trail from the main pavilion to the campground - I'd like to do some cold weather camping there.Very cold with the wind from the water, but that doesn't bother with the proper clothing and gear.
H — Google review
Absolutely beautiful! The campground was super clean and the sites were great! We didn't really see any sites that were in rough shape! All have concrete leveled pads or they are tent sites. The beach is within walking distance of the campground and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The sand is so soft! Who needs the ocean when you have a place like this!

Their is a picnic area beside the park where you can stay. But you need to have a reservation if you want to come here. It can be done online. As it is shown in their community board. Otherwise a sheriff will give you a parking fee ticket. Well its not really a paking ticket fee, its a donation, for the village to keep the place clean and running.Went here for a weekend beach day. This place is not too crowded unlike other well known beach and the water is clean and at this time it was at the right temp. They have a barbecue station too and toilets. Love the place.
Manski — Google review
Well worth the $12 admission fee, this state park had it all! We started on the beach, traversed through a forest, and ended in a gorgeous marsh. Would have been even better if the restaurant was open. Also note that there is only one bathroom open in the winter so plan accordingly.
Amanda K — Google review
We love coming here. There's so much to do in the park and in the general 20- or 30-mile radius.Keep an eye on the weather. The beach was always open, but swimming was closed about 50% of the time we were there. That's fine, we don't swim. We're beach combers and campers. We find lots of unique rocks washed up and some cool photo ops.Our favorite time to go is very early and spend about 2 or 3 hours each day walking up and down the shoreline. On the weekends, the public is horrible. Please carry your garbage out with you if the provided cans are full. I can believe this national treasure is treated so poorly by some people.I think the park could probably put someone on garbage duty at different times of the day.Lifeguards are very attentive and do a great job keeping people in line. The pavilion food is VERY expensive for convenience food stored in warmers. I'd suggest bringing your own food and drink.

We enjoyed the bog, the dunes and walking through the woods. Nice spring wildflowers. It's weird that towns are in the middle of it. Trailhead parking lots can get crowded

Nice sandy place with Michigan lake beach. When we visited this place now in month of may it was still cold. So don’t forget to carry warm cloths. It was fun walking on sand and taking the hike routes. Nice place to enjoy with friends. I could not find a spot to grill or sit to eat near beach. There is restaurant to sit but away from water. There are separate dedicated space for camping. Overall nice place and would visit again to just enjoy the beach and its water. There are pebbles in sand and it’s interesting to see the patterns on them.

This park is a gem just off the highway. We stayed for one night during a cross country road trip but would have loved to stay longer. The trails are easily accessible and offer some great views, especially during sunset. The sites are definitely better used with an RV since they're quite close together with minimal privacy. Staff was super friendly, washrooms were very clean and the showers were great.
Rayne S — Google review
My husband and I stayed in a 26ft Class C RV at the campground. The site itself was nice. The lot was paved and level. The site contained a fire ring and park bench. The campground amenities were nothing special. The bathrooms were in rough shape. The maps provided were pretty unhelpful, especially for hiking trails. The campground, as well as the state park, is seriously lacking in directional signs. We tried to take loop 4 to 8 and had to turn around numerous times. There was little to no signage and the trails listed on the provided maps, as well as apps like All Trails, were not accurate or up-to-date. We’re not sure if perhaps the trail availability changes with preservation/maintenance schedules? Regardless, the dunes themselves are awesome. The sand is beautiful and the views are incredible. It was also super remote/not very populated in October when we visited.
Lauren B — Google review
A nice park with ample RV spots and well developed infrastructure at the lake beach. The bath houses in the RV park left a little to be desired, as the water was barely warm, and the temp fluctuated from that to cold throughout a shower. That combined with the lack of water and sewer at sites made it less than we were hoping for, but it was still a decent park overall. The trash pandas here are fearless!
Zac C — Google review
It's a nice park. It has a very clean beach, lots of pavilions for picnics, and a decent campground. The downside is that we had to pay additionally to access the park even though we had a camping reservation. Not understanding why that wouldn't be included automatically in the cost of camping since the campsite is inside the park! Also, all of the water is shut off at the beach restrooms, so you can't use the showers or sinks. Lastly, not understanding the logic of bringing sand in to top dress the hiking trails instead of letting it be natural. Makes it extremely difficult to hike on. It's obvious that it was intentionally brought in when there is no sand on either side of the walking trails. Overall, it is a nice park but there are simple things that could be improved to make it a better experience with better decision-making by the park managers.

My favorite place so close to home. 3rd largest body of fresh water in the world. Simply amazing views and crowded during peak weekends, so go on a Wednesday and enjoy sunrise, shaded trails and golden sunsets over Lake Michigan shoreline.

One of my favorite state parks in the state of Indiana! It doesn’t have a lot of activities, but it sits on the wide sandy beach of Lake Michigan / a spectacular place to spend a warm summer day. The dune hikes are very challenging - but offer spectacular views & a great workout. We stayed at the campground - very nice sites with concrete pads.

I absolutely loved my stay at Indiana Dunes State Park. I stayed at the beach area; I believe it’s Porter Beach. The greeters/entrance hosts were very kind as I entered the park. The scenery was wonderful and vibrant. Restrooms and showers are nearby for convenience, and are clean. It’s a spacious beach that looks like you’re viewing the ocean, but it’s one of the great lakes! As I said before, the view is worth it! My stay was such a privilege: will definitely be coming back again soon!

Went to watch the Solar Eclipse on the beach! The park is beautiful. It is huge! Plenty of hiking trails! The beach is huge and gorgeous. There were staff members walking around cleaning up the beach while we were there! The building is beautiful and well kept they have a little food shop in it but was not quite open for the season. The nature center was very nice, also clean. Has regular bathrooms in it. They do have several events going in and that is posted in various spots throughout the park. They were having an Eclipse event with friends if the Indiana Dunes selling “solar” related snacks and drinks! See pictures for details…so cute! Smokey the bear was walking around for picture opportunities. There is a regular bathroom on the beach as well, it is clean and well maintained but it is a single use stall.Prices vary to get in for the day…to walk or bike in it was $2 per personPer car was $12And there were camping prices, bus prices and can prices too. Website is very helpful! We will definitely be going there again!

The most wonderful place in Indiana. Love bouncing back and forth to the State Park also. Good hiking. Excellent beachfront. The kids enjoyed all 4 of the hike we did (except for the bugs) and absolutely loved the beach.Definitely plan to hit both the sand beach and the rocky beach farther down.We called at the state park and visited both. Stayed three days and saw most everything (with great weather). Could do another day if you really wanted to deep dive the flora and fauna.

The hotel is conveniently situated near local attractions and offers amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge services, and gift shops. Guests can enjoy the visually appealing casino and resort with quick self-check-in, affordable and comfortable rooms equipped with in-room safes and mini fridges.
I had an awesome time at Four Winds Casino! The atmosphere was lively, and the entire experience was top-notch. The band performing that night was fantastic—great energy, awesome song choices, and they really got the crowd going. It added such a fun vibe to the whole night. The casino itself is well-kept and has plenty of gaming options to keep you entertained for hours. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent throughout my visit. Whether you're there for the music, gaming, or just a night out, Four Winds Casino really delivers. I can’t wait to go back

My wife and I went here for a concert at their venue, Silver Creek Event Center, and stayed the night. There was a self check-in option which I think would've been quicker; however, as we've never stayed there before, we elected to use a person to check in. There was a short wait, but not too bad.The room was clean and very spacious with a great view. It had a mini fridge, a microwave, and a Kurieg with some k-cups. You likely won't find any bargains though, I think we paid around $330 for one night, and there was no room service when we stayed if that matters to you. They did have an outdoor pool area and a fitness center.Neither of us are big gamblers so I can't speak much to that experience, except to say that they did have a lot of machines and table games to choose from. I do love that it's a smoke free casino (there are designated smoking rooms if you are a smoker). There are also places to hang out if you want to do something other than gamble. There is a sports betting area to sit and watch sports (with a bar if you want to order a drink), a restaurant on the casino floor, Timbers, if you want to stop and eat, and other bars also located on the casino floor. They also have a Steakhouse, Kankakee River Grill, a buffet, a coffee shop, and other gift shops. We elected to eat at Timbers and the service for food was SLOW. If you're going to an event and want to eat beforehand, better get there plenty early, like at least an hour maybe more.We enjoyed the concert, the show was very good. I would recommend sitting in the back if you're going to a concert as they have stadium seating in the back and it's comfortable. It looked like just banquet chairs up front.Overall it was an enjoyable experience, all of the staff members were friendly and helpful. The only downsides I would say are that it's not cheap and the food service is slow.

Stayed a couple of nights in gorgeous rooms. The staff was great! The hallways were cool and reminded me of scary movies where the hallways never end. The beds were comfortable and the showers were to die for. The TV screen had a fireplace running and was so relaxing. Definitely going back.
Steph D — Google review
The place is newer so everything is pretty nice. But because it's a casino they of course allow smoking even in the hotel. So there is an odor of fake scent that they use to try to mask the smoke smell. We just don't like that. It's also in the middle of nowhere so you don't have a whole lot to do besides be there. Which I'm sure is how they planned it, but we were there for a wedding and don't really gamble that much so it would have been nice to have something else to do. We did go into the nearby little towns but there were just a couple restaurants and stores.
Sheri R — Google review
Let me start by saying this is a beautiful casino. One of the nicest I've seen. Also love that its smoke free. That's where the positivity ends. This place has the tightest slots I've ever encountered. We've been there several times and nobody has ever walked out of there a winner. We will never go back. Also what kind of casino buffet is closed on a Sunday? We were there to celebrate a family members birthday planning on going to the buffet and it was closed. I suppose that's our own fault for not checking but ever other casino buffet is open on Sundays. It's a shame that the slots pay so poorly. I'd gladly make the longer drive out there if I won at least once.

Great time at Four Winds. Casino is very clean and it's a no-smoking floor. Slots were very reasonable priced to play. Room was very nice. Buffet was very tasty, nice carving table.

This is by far the worst hotel that I have ever been to. I would rather stay at the super eight went to the vending machines. They were warm and they forgot to put up a sign stating that it was out of order. The product was expired by months and all they were gonna offer me was my money back and they were gonna offer me a 2 ounce canned soda That cost about five cents. Their customer service is degrading when people will spend over 2 to 3K there in the casino itself I will never be going back there and staying at that hotel unless they can make it right horrible horrible, horrible horrible make sure you take all your dates on your drinks when you go there
Jacob M — Google review
The lack of communication among the hotel, casino, and food and beverage, was astounding. My family and I drove from Indiana to celebrate my 21st birthday after CALLING ahead of time to make sure my valid temporary ID would suffice as proof of my age. We were told that it would be up to the casino on if they would take it but that we could try. We in fact did that and when stopped at the door by the guard, my ID was taken just fine and I was allowed in. I was allowed to gamble at the casino and had a literal game card hanging from my neck when I was carded numerous times and almost everytime, getting a different response on my ID. I was told by a woman and a man at the W club counter that my ID would be acceptable and that I would be allowed to gamble and drink. I was then carded again at the door upon reentry and was almost denied access based on the same ID that had previously allowed me access. This guard, once finding out that I was already verified by another guard prior, escorted me to the security counter in order to obtain an "Age Verified" wrist band so that I would stop being stopped numerous times. I asked this guard as she was putting the band on me if it would also work with alcohol purchases and she assured me, again, that it would. This is now the 4th person who has told me that I could gamble and drink with my ID and my wrist band. However, as soon as I attempted to purchase a drink with my ID, the bartender refused to even look at it and denied me service despite also having a wristband verifying that I was 21. When my family and I went back to the W club counter, we were then informed that food and beverage was a separate entity and that they had separate rules. All in all, I was allowed to gamble (which you have to be 21 to do) but not drink (because I apparently wasn't 21). The whole ordeal wasted a ton of time of celebration for both me and my family. It was very clear that no one knew anything about protocol. It was quite literally depending on the person checking the ID at any given time rather than the rules of the casino. While our time wasn't completely ruined as we were able to take my ID to literally any other bar in Michigan and able to purchase a drink. It was very disheartening to be told something one minute and then be told something completely different a minute later. We were also double charged for the room upon leaving but was completely reimbursed 2 days later. However, due to this double charge, one of the bills that we had scheduled to come out at that time, bounced.

Good atmosphere. Rooms were good. Chances of winning while gambling is not good. Food prices are high for what you get. The service in timbers was very slow and some individuals really didn't want to help.

Definitely my favorite casino in America. I love the venue and shows there. Been to many of them. The staff is awesome also.I do wish the signs were better to and from hotel to casino but once I found the long hall with all the shops and restaurants I was good to go.Can't wait to come back. Keep bringing great shows

Great rooms but you have to ask a housekeeper for coffee and water. They don't come into your room unless you are checking out. Casino floor a little quiet. No screaming jackpot winners. I stayed there two nights.

It's a nice casino. The rooms are ok but the bed wasn't very good. We didn't eat here, though. Journeymen distillery down the road has delicious food and great drinks. Their pickles and ketchup are great. The hot bourbon apple cake was top-notch.

My friend and I went for a long weekend and we were ecstatic with everything. Everyone was friendly, the property is beautiful, and there are designated smoking areas instead of sections on the gaming floor. I will definitely be back with my husband!

I'm sure if your a seasoned casino go'r or go to four winds, it's a great place. For the atmosphere it was great. But if you sign up the first time, you get a card. You used, you'll get an invalid card on the screen. The front desk told me happens all the time to first time users. I was issued a new card but still the same issue. It was frustrating. Sometimes it word & Sometimes it would not. They did give you $5.00 credit.

If you have kids, just simply don’t go. I know it’s a casino but even the hotel part…just don’t go. They give you an extremely hard time for absolutely no reason. I am under the age of 21, and was only staying in the hotel. No intentions of gambling. I personally like parking in the parking garage for several personal reasons, however you have to walk down a large strip to the hotel wing and “security” and the managers fuss about it. However, this strip includes food, drinks, shopping centers, etc. And with us walking down this strip we needed IDd every 5 minutes because we are on “the casino floor”. Told them we were going to the hotel and they just simply didn’t care. Wouldnt even mind an escort but they just refused. Had to call my mom whom went to work to escort us back. Could have just escorted us down maybe a 20-30ft hallway. Rooms overall were nice, however the bathroom shower door isn’t sealed so expect a huge puddle on the ground. 10 minutes away from the beach so that was a plus!

I normally do not write reviews about locations I stay but I felt I needed to do this one. Before our stay I read the reviews and found some good ones and bad ones. To start the room was nice enough but our coffee maker stopped working day 2 of our stay. Other than that it was ok. The staff while friendly at times seemed uninterested and distracted not rude but just disinterested. The Casino while big with lots of games was not fun the players cards we had constantly did not work so we lost out on a lot of points, when I asked someone for help they said you have to keep shoving it in and out until it registers that did not work in most cases. Before we came a lot of the reviews said the slots were tight and I can attest that it is true. There were no wins at all for us all four days except an occasional win on the old school slots which were very small. In four days I witnessed no big wins for anyone and we spent 4-5 hours a day in there. The Food was overpriced and the only good food we had was in the Timbers restaurant which was a BLT The Buffet food was cold and we had a 20 minute wait because they had one person working. All in all we probably won’t return in the future it was a clean hotel but as far as Casinos go I have had more fun in other casinos and at least walked away with some money.

I've stayed at Four Winds Casino New Buffalo twice, and both times I enjoyed quite a bit. The staff has been more than capable of helping with anything that I needed, and it was right down the road from where we went to watch fireworks. I don't care what anyone else says, 5⭐ stay for me. And I'll definitely be going back.

Several machines not working. Table game selection is limited. Fairly reasonable drink prices for alcohol. Water and soda are free in some places, which is great. Bathrooms were clean. Decent concert venue. We could see pretty well from mid floor seats. Sound was good.I honestly might have given a 5 star review if it were not for Heather in transportation. She was a bit rude and not super forthcoming about the shuttle schedule.I like that there is a free shuttle, and I will never use it ever again. Pick up at local hotels is a breeze. Getting back, a nightmare. When we got done with our concert, we had to wait nearly a full hour for the shuttle, as it runs on the hour, and we just missed it. We could literally see it sitting in the far part of the parking lot for 45 minutes. The shuttle runs hourly at that time apparently. It pulls into the portico at 5 minutes to the hour and leaves exactly on the hour. So, don’t miss it! I suggest driving if possible. We probably would have gone back again were it not for that experience. I can safely say at this point that we don’t ever plan to go back.

Silver Beach County Park is a lovely area located alongside Lake Michigan, featuring a wide beach that offers various exciting activities like beach volleyball. The park also includes an event pavilion and pier access, making it an ideal location for entertainment and leisure. Children can have fun at the spray park fountains or indoor carousel while enjoying delicious pies served by Silver Beach Pizza in an old train depot.
Great place for families plenty of parking. (PAID) $15/DAY. You can reenter. The beach is protected by a jetty so the waves are not too big. There is a really neat splash pad, lots of sand volleyball courts and a playground. There is a concession stand that has pizza and burgersPlan on spend some time there

This was 9th year in a row I have gone here. Taken my grand daughter and my mom used to go but sadly can't now. We love it. Saw more crowds this year than when we have been there before. Always nice to walk out to light houses and the beach for sunset....can walk your dog along walkway as long as on leash.

we stopped after some time at the local winery and some Kilwin's ice cream and enjoyed the sights and sounds of October on the beach!! At least 4 surfers were out to enjoy the waves and it gives you time to stop and think about how important the little things in life truly are!! Silver Beach County Park has our hearts forever!!!

Came here on a whim never been to the city before and decided to check out the beach. It did cost $15 to park. But for the amenities you get for this beach is awesome. The beach is incredibly long. Has a nice food area. Several areas to sit and eat that are higher up so you can see everyone on the beach lifeguard towers but no one was staffed but it wasn't a bad day so I'm not sure when they do get staffed. Overall really nice place for kids and for individuals just by themselves. We'll say the sand is a little loose, so when you're walking on it kind of sink down into it. But that's okay with me

Very nice and exceptionally clean beach. We visited St. Joseph for a weekend getaway and had a great time. Its amazing how much more clear\blue Lake Michigan is on the other side..!! We parked in the FREE ALL DAY parking spaces near the childrens museum and art gallery. From there you simply walk across the street, down some stairs\ramp and straight to the beach. Save that 15 bucks and use it for some food\drinks..!!

My BFF and I went over just for the afternoon on a day trip. Was thoroughly impressed with how clean the beach was, that there were public changing rooms, lifeguards on duty and a noticeable police presence. The play area is right there on the beach so you can keep an eye on the littles, and you don't have to walk miles to get a snack, go to bathroom, or even get to your car! We will definitely be back!

Great beach. It's clean. Not enough parking, so parents with young children beware. There might be some walking. There is a restaurant near the beach, bonus so you don't travel far for food. The beach can get crowded towards the afternoon. Parents with younger kids best to be there before 2 pm. Easier to track your children with less people around. No dogs are allowed on the beach.

We visited in September during an unseasonably hot day. There was plenty of parking, bathrooms had changing rooms. The concession stand wasn't open because the summer season was over. There was a lot of trash on the shoreline. Trash that was left behind from people as well as piles of muck from the water. I would imagine that it's better maintained during the summer season. It was fun to walk the pier and watch boats sail by.

Really nice big beach but gets very busy. Big bonus here is that you get full cell service which is rare for West Coast Michigan beaches.

Good beach. No sharks, no jellyfish, freshwater and nice sand.Right on the beach (in the sand close): Restrooms, Swings, 9 sand volleyball courts, snack shack, playground, water rentals and life guards.Real close to the beach: Parking, Spray water park, restaurant, lighthouse, pier, carousel (open Fri-Sun).Tourist friendly little town a little further walk with plenty of shops and restaurants.Parking right on beach is $15 all day. Free all day parking is a 5 minute walk.

Silver Beach is Amazing, during off season, it is calm and reclusive in some spots. You can walk to the end and see benton harbor with sculptures and beautiful scenery. Its a bucket list must.

Always a great time at silver beach. The sand is soft, the water is refreshing, and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Take a stroll out onto the pier for the sunset and you're golden.

A very nice bean. We've spent multiple days here over several years. Fantastic sunsets year round.
Jason S — Google review
Silver Beach is very nice and is well maintained however they charge you $8 to park if you live in berrien county and $15 if you don't and the road next to the beach has no parking signs all the way along so you are forced to pay to park if you want to enjoy the beach and their concession prices are really high so to me that's not cool.
Joe C — Google review
A nice beach. Lots of sand, so even on busy days you can stake out some ground. Summer has entry rates. $8 a day for those living in Berrien County. $15 a day for non residents. $40 a year if that's your thing. You can park up the bluff for free and walk down though. This will be changing though. The city is going to charge for parking to reduce congestion. The beach has a fast food type place that is better than McDonald's, but not much. Lots of playground stuff spread about. My favorite spot is up on the dune amongst the trees to get a little respite from the sun.If you go expecting Hawaii you'll be disappointed. If you go expecting a normal lake beach you'll be quite pleased.

Beautiful beach perfect for a day out in the sun and waves. Perfect for families with kids of all ages, especially young ones. There are actual restrooms not just porto-pottys. There is an outdoor shower area for rinsing, and a quick service food shack where you can get burgers, hotdogs, fries, ice cream sundaes, and even essentials like sunblock, sand toys, etc. You can rent beach chairs as well. Children will enjoy the play area with lots of swings, slides, and jungle gyms. There is also a huge splash pad that shoots water. Life guard on duty at the beach. No alcohol & pets allowed though...Don't think twice, this is a great place for the summer, come with your family!

The University of Notre Dame, a Catholic institution founded in 1842, is home to the Fighting Irish football team and boasts a picturesque campus. Notable historic sites include the Basilica, dome, and library. The university's Gothic architecture is symbolic of Paris and France itself, with Napoleon having been crowned there. The stadium on campus is impressive and ushers provide helpful service to visitors. Hospitality at Notre Dame is excellent and tailgating events offer opportunities for socializing with fellow fans.
I love it here! I have worked here for 15 years and don't plan to leave anytime soon. Plenty to do and see, people are kind, as it's a beautiful campus. Plus, who doesn't love the best football team?

The University of Notre Dame Campus is strikingly beautiful. The architecture of its buildings is stunning. In May the tulips around campus are beautiful to see. Souvenirs can be picked up from the bookstore. You can take in a mass at the beautiful cathedral or partake in a sporting event. It is a must see when visiting South Bend.

I was there today to run a Spartan Race. Three venue was awesome. I got a chance to run through the entire stadium, the football field, and some of the campus. We also got to run through the locker rooms and courtyard that had a great view of Touchdown Jesus. The Notre Dame Stadium staff was great too. Very professional. They treated the few thousands of racers, Spartan Race staff, and spectators like family. I'd definitely like to go back again soon.

If I could give more stars I would. I would like to thank Notre Dame for hosting us for football. The staff was absolutely amazing. The campus was gorgeous. The huskies win over the Irish. Nothing can top that 10/10 would drive the 2 hours to watch it again. Thank you thank you Thank you.

In the spirit of full disclosure I am somewhat biased as I am an Alumnus. That said, this is truly one of the most unique and beautiful college campuses in the country. I love returning when in the area, and now that I am retired have more time to do so! Do yourself a favor, and put this place on your "bucket list" for places to go!

Absolutely beautiful campus. I didn't study there, so, cannot talk for the quality of education but the place is gorgeous.I love taking walks there, I love roaming around the campus. I love the lakes, swans, and ducks as well! The landscaping is amazing.I like coming here to light a candle for my grandma. 🕯I think I'd be absolutely happy to go to this school as a college student!
Anastasiia I — Google review
Great architectureI can't really say much about the university itself, I just came to visit to see the stunning basilica. There were actually less buildings with unique architectural elements than I was expecting. It appears that the bookstore and dorms and most general buildings are mostly square brick structures. Still worth visiting to see the Grotto, Basilica, and gold dome.
K R — Google review
A very beautiful Campus. Well maintained as it is makes it easy to see why it's such a popular choice for a great education. I would give a full five just for the beauty but as I have never been a student I can't fairly say how I'd feel having never experienced attending. As a visitor I truly enjoyed the architectural beauty and the history of the famed campus. I recommended this as a great free must see in the area!

Beautiful campus. Great place to watch a football game. Great atmosphere. Friendly fans. Food was good for stadium food and prices were reasonable. If you are passing through South Bend on a Saturday and you have a few hours available, I would highly recommend checking out a University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish football game. You won't be disappointed in the stadium or atmosphere. Go Irish!

I was here over the weekend on business. Decided to go for a 5k run around campus. Was absolutely beautiful. It was nice to see a campus that is kept up so nice. Great architecture as well as landscaping. If you’re in the area highly recommend take a look around!

Notre Dame's campus is absolutely beautiful. From the basilica and the golden dome, to the cemetery and unique trees, it was a gorgeous campus to walk through. All the students we encountered were friendly and helpful, and not to mention, excited for another home football game. Notre Dame's traditions are like no other and taken very seriously by not only students, but also by fans like us. So if you're thinking of visiting whether for a college visit or sports event, you will be glad you chose Notre Dame!

The RV Hall of Fame & Museum in Elkhart, Indiana is a modern event facility and museum dedicated to the RV and manufactured housing industry. Spanning 10,000 square feet, this complex showcases a wide range of historic recreational vehicles from renowned American manufacturers such as Winnebago and Airstream. The museum provides a chronological journey through the history and technological advancements of recreational vehicles and manufactured housing from pre-World War era to the present day.
I really enjoyed this museum, many very interesting exhibits from early 1900s to present day RVs as well as Manufactured Homes. There were also numerous informative videos on various related topics dotted around the museum including a theatre dedicated to the introductory video. Well worth a visit.
Jose B — Google review
I have always been fascinated by RVs, and when the opportunity arose to visit the RV Hall of Fame, I eagerly seized it. The RV Hall of Fame offers a wealth of information and exhibits related to the RV industry. Visitors can explore an extensive collection of vintage RVs, watch informative films, and even step inside some of these RVs to experience what it was like to travel in the 1940s, 1960s or 1980s. Additionally, there is a showcase of cutting-edge RV equipment. While the manufactured homes exhibit on the other side of the building is a nice addition, I personally would have preferred to see a greater variety of RVs, particularly more modern models. Despite this minor suggestion, the RV Hall of Fame remains an intriguing destination for anyone interested in learning about the history and evolution of RVs.

Loved it! Tried to add it to our full-timing travels for ten years and never made it.So glad we scheduled it in. Staff was so friendly and I got to see my all-time favorites inside and out (Winnie Brave & GMC Safari). We only had time for the lower levels so we plan on coming back at least once more.

If you like to see old restored RVs, antique RVs then this is the place for you! From the first ones ever made to a couple of new concepts. Spacious building. Lots of displays of models, toy models, RV artwork. Small gift shop. Left side of the building highlights manufactured housing beginnings and new models. Cost is $20 for 1 adult.

We were traveling thru the area and had this on our sightseeing list. We are full time rv travelers. We have seen ALOT of museums. Honestly, we were a bit underwhelmed with the museum - especially for the cost of $20 a person (we found a reseller deal online for $15). They had some cool older items, but not to the magnitude you would expect for the name & cost. Should be more in the line of $8-$10 a person relative to what was there and the quality & quantity opinion. A lot of places seem to raise the price to offset expenses when it would make more traffic if they lowered the price and more people could afford.Perk: It was really great that they offer dry camping for free and full hookups for $40. Visited on a Sunday and it was very quiet. Just some noise from highway. Nice they were open every day. Very good layout for RV parking and great to have an option so close to the museum. Dump stations on site. This was all awesome!Peeve: We saw two separate sets of guests INSIDE walking around the museum with dogs - really LARGE dogs. Very surprised they allow this. Wouldn’t think they’d want them around the displays. The dogs didn’t seem well behaved and were approaching us & other visitors and trying to investigate the campers. Not ideal for us honestly. Have never seen dogs at any other inside attraction, especially a museum with vintage items. I understand accommodating pet owners but this seemed a bit much especially given they likely had an RV they arrived in they could have stayed in.Overall, definitely worth a stop if camping is of interest to you! Some cool vintage pieces.

Huge display and lots of history. So many fun things to learn about the process of rvs and how they're made.Great opportunity to take your furry pets too since dogs are allowed in the rvs of the museum.

Huge museum you can spend hours inside if you dnt feel like reading everything you can still spend a long time inside just looking at all the different versions and years and ways they moved forward and in some ways behind. They had clean bathrooms a very good sized gift shop you can buy souvenirs at. A huge parking lot for any rigs that might be being towed, to those who want to visit. Parking has no shortage. Expect to spend about a half a day inside.

This place is great for people that love to RV! We are close to being full-timers. The older RVs are to die for. So pretty. I feel like they were better made than the ones today lol. You can overnight here as well. They have electric hookups and water available. The lot is huge. There’s a library here that you could easily spend a whole day in. The gift shop has cute stuff for reasonable prices. I think the tickets are worth the money! Also got to see The Bird! We love Keep Your Daydream 💖

I got there too late in the evening, but they let me boondock out in the parking lot so I could see the museum in the morning.I'm glad I was one of the first ones in, as they get very busy! I loved all of the old school campers, which have content cards for a self guided tour. There's also a product area, a founder's hall of fame, and a mobile home area. I didn't find those as appealing, but I just really love the old vintage campers.
Penny S — Google review
Old campers are very interesting. Seems a little pricey. But if you are into campers it is good.

I don't own an RV. I do camp, though. This is an awesome place to go to. To see the progression of where the first RV started to see where they are now and the future of RV is going is pretty cool.So if you are on 90 going east or west. Even if you don't have an RV, you need to stop at the RV Hall of Fame & Museum.

This is a must visit if you own a camper/RV! There is so much history and an amazing collection of historical campers, pop ups, tear drops, and RVs. It was really fun seeing the history as well as the latest (Furrion Elysium) technology, and we got to see the blue bird bus from KYDs youtube channel. I highly recommend!

We stopped by the RV Hall of Fame. We got there late, stayed overnight in their RV spot, and went when it opened up at 9 am. It took us about an hour and a half to go thur. Cute gift shop. Iwas a nice break before getting back on the road.

We had the best time! The MH side was incredible! The kids loved walking through the old and new manufactured homes! The old ones were so well done! The camper side was so fantastic!
Nicole B — Google review
We chose this destination because we watch a lot of RV content creators on YouTube. Finding out they were a harvest host and allowing overnights, it was an easy choice. We could run our generator, they do have some hookups but the woman at the desk said they are typically available after Aug 1st. There did appear to be some people in them. We enjoyed the museum. If we are coming through we would plan to stay again.
Nicole M — Google review
This place boasts a grand collection of RVs, including some that were used as command posts during WWII. It’s far more interesting than you might imagine! You can see the drastic improvements made over the century, leading up to the modern, luxurious RVs they have on display up front. It’s a fascinating journey through the history and evolution of recreational vehicles.
Travel E — Google review
This was a beautiful and clean museum with many examples of RV styles over the years. It was nice that several were set up for people to go inside of the RV. But they also had a selection of Manufactured Homes over the years. I'm sure they will acquire more examples as they continue to grow their museum. The person who sells the tickets to enter also manages the gift shop purchases, so occasionally, it's busy but not overcrowded. Very clean restrooms and wheelchair accessible except for getting into the RVs that are open.

Wow isn't this a unique place 😲Who knew? 🤷🏻♂️Fantastic nostalgic trip down memory lane for those of us who remember the '50s and '60s and even 70s of camping. 🤭Beautiful building, nice displays, many of these old RVs you can walk through👣.They even have a gift shop with all kinds of hand-painted RV signs to choose from. You can either boondock or have hook ups in the parking lot. Just check in at the admission desk for the museum so be sure you show up on time before it closes. 😉☹️ The noise from the highway is horrendous! Absolutely horrible all day and all night!🙈You need to run your generator or pay for power🔌 for the night so you can run your AC.😉If you're looking for a quiet free place to stay, this wouldn't be it...🙅🏻♂️🚫

The Air Zoo Aerospace & Science Museum is a state-of-the-art facility that offers a unique and educational experience for the whole family. Located between Detroit and Chicago, it provides hands-on fun and limitless opportunities to learn about science and aeronautics. The museum features rare aircraft, full-motion flight simulators, indoor rides, 4D theaters, and immersive exhibits.
Amazing! I cannot say enough good things about this place! It was the highlight of our trip to Kalamazoo! The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. The exhibits were fantastic and the fact that one price gets you everything once you're inside was awesome! My youngest son and I loved the flight simulators! It was a blast and truly fun for the whole family! If you are in the Kalamazoo area, I HIGHLY recommend a trip to the Air Zoo!

As an major aviation enthusiast I have been wanting to visit the Air Zoo for years. Now that I have I was not disappointedFeaturing over 100 aircraft from WW1 to the late Cold War with some civilian aircraft and a LOT of military aircraft including a F-14 Tomcat, F-18 Hornet, B-25 Mitchell and arguably the museums centerpieces the SR-71 Blackbird. I do with that they had a couple of commercial planes though.Apart from the airplane displays there is a theater showing short aviation films, full motion simulators and for the kids there and activity room for toddler age children and 3 kiddies rides

Great place to bring the family. Fun rides for the kids. A lot of beautiful planes and jets for display. Very cool history to learn about along with the displays. Very friendly and nice staff. One of the most enjoyable visits to any Air & Space museum we've had. Genuinely surprised at both the size of the facility and the quality of the displays. The volunteer staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic... they all loved answering questions. They even gave us private tours inside some of the aircraft! I'll tell you, it's a special feeling when a vet walks up to you, asks if you want to go on board the aircraft you're ogling, and they reach down to that clip on the end of the rope to let you step inside history. Most highly recommended!!!

Easy drive and free parking. Entrance fee reasonable. The exhibits are great, F14, F18, F4, A4, SR71, WW2 aircraft, cockpits to get in, nice space section, rides for the kids and other interactive displays. Overall definitely worth a visit. You can walk or drive or take a shuttle to their auxiliary building which is ok, but I loved sitting by the runway watching the commercial jets take off. Highly recommend.

This museum is amazing! I went with my husband and we had a great time with all of the interactive displays. I can see how families would love this, too. It’s definitely not just for kids though. You can get free admission if you have a NARM reciprocal membership with another museum. I used my Ohio History Connection membership for free admission. The space and science fiction exhibits were really fun! There are also 3 carnival rides (indoors) that you can ride. There are many cool planes. We spent 1.5 hours here, but only because we were there towards closing time. We really enjoyed our visit.

Museum is amazing! The exhibits are awesome and very interactive. Most of their planes are real and have flown/fought in real life before being brought to the museum. It is a very educational and fun place. The rides are exciting, especially the flight simulator. The art on the wall and floor are well done and clever. (Climb up to the cafeteria to see the aircraft carrier on the floor.) Speaking of the cafeteria, it has some pretty good options for a good price. Don't forget to visit the other building to see the F-117 for no additional costs!

Absolutely incredible experience! All of the staff and volunteer were friendly and happy to share their knowledge. They're restoring a plane that was recovered from the bottom of Lake Michigan. It's been an eleven year process, and the plane looks brand new. Master craftsmanship by the many volunteers and others who've worked on the plane. The museum made my trip to Kalamazoo. It's a great reason to return someday.

Very nice place to visit, veterans, first responders, and active military get half off price. Plan on being there a while as there's a lot to see. It's very interesting and informative. If you have questions on anything there's a very knowledgeable volunteer staff. Great place for young and old alike, they have flight simulators. Don't miss out on the flight Discovery Center just a short drive down the road as they have A unique restoration program where many planes have been restored and the workers who are restoring them are most happy to talk to you and answer any questions you might have about the restoration process. A must-see!

Worth every cent! My kids loved this place, even the teenager! The staff was amazing at every turn, I loved the older people who were full of information. I can't believe some of the things they knew, what I wouldn't give to have spent an hour asking them questions. Definitely go to the other building. It is a short walk, but the drive was fun as well. They have a cute electric bus that was great, I loved the gift shop too. Everything was reasonably priced.

Really cool Air & Space museum, especially for kids!We stopped here on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded, though it was the day before Easter, so I don't know if "normal" Saturdays see more patrons. The main focus is on planes, and boy do they have them! There are tons of planes, from various eras, available to look around and read about. WW II is probably the biggest collection, but they have some more modern jets as well. It's pretty great if you've got kids who like planes - as soon as we entered my 3 year old said "WOOOOOOW, ZOOOMS!" and was completely beside himself. The main area has a couple of carnival-type rides - enough to occupy kids for a bit, but not too many to eat up all the time you've allotted for the visit. There's also a space section, which has both true and fictional spacecraft and replicas. This was the favorite section for my older kids. There's another building of exhibits, but we didn't have time this trip to go visit it - it includes additional planes and some open cockpits you can sit in.The cafe is overpriced, but not at much as we expected, seems fairly reasonable for a museum cafe. The gift shop, too, didn't seem unreasonably priced for a museum gift shop.All-in-all, it's a nice museum, and would recommend stopping if you enjoy aircraft, the history of aircraft, or especially if you have kids who like planes.

This place is incrediblyy huge, awe inspiring, and extremely awesome to visit. We found out about it because my girlfriend and I collect squished pennies and were supper happy to see they had not 1 but 2 machines! 😍 it is hard to express how BIG this place is, they have the main building and then the original one which is smaller but definitely a must visit. They have these gorgeous hand painted murals that wrap around the inside but they also have some extremely beautiful and rare birds like the SR-71 and some incredible helicopters, they also have lots to do for little ones, babies, and kids :) 10/10 would recommend, it is worth every penny and more!

We were recently in town for my wife’s sister, who had a baby. We had a morning to kill a few hours, so we decided to come here. Our bar was pretty high, considering we’re from Dayton Ohio, where we have access to the right Pat Air Force Base museum. Ours back home is free. This one cost us about $50 to get in as a family of four, my daughter who is four years old was able to get in free. One thing that’s nice is that fee includes all of the rides and attractions inside of the museum, so it was nice to not have to pay for anything extra while we were in. My kids loved it and had a blast plenty of rides attractions and airplane cockpit simulators for them to get in and enjoy. I’m a history buff so I got my fill as well. Also, our whole family enjoyed the space part of the exhibit where we had all of the sci-fi In theory from movies! I especially enjoyed the second building, not as much for the kids to do but at the time they are restoring two airplanes recovered from Lake Michigan. This is an amazing private museum that has a ton of volunteers. As far as staff goes, was friendly, kind courteous and informative. Some of the best customer service I’ve received ever.. There was one young man that was running the airplane attraction for the kiddos. He stood out, especially super friendly, made my kids feel warm. We need more people like him. I wish I would’ve got his name to give him a shout out in this review I was very impressed!I don’t know if we’ll come back only because we’re not from this area but if you haven’t, then I would recommend going 10 out of 10!

Oh my goodness, of all of the many air museums I have visited all over this country, this is absolutely the best! Bring your family, bring your kids! There's something for everyone! You can even stay in your RV in there parking lot overnight, no hook ups. This place is absolutely fantastic, if I could give it more stars, I would.

Such a great place to watch live performances and the actors and actresses were amazing! They did a salute to the stars tribute to Elvis, Pasty Cline, and Roy Orbison! So fun to watch I even got a pic with them all!

Best buffet ever. It always tastes great. They have a salad bar with fresh made bread. A desert bar with numerous selections. The main course always has the best chicken. Along with mashed potatoes, veggies, sides, and several other meats. Up stairs, you need to go to their bakery and load up on tasty treats.

Not a bad venue but I give it a one star for Internet connection. In modern times, no excuse for not having 5g connection for all guest. Lamest connection in any event center I have attended. Talk about back woodsWhen they fix this I will amend my review. But at this time I cannot recommend this place.

We saw the 60s review and it was definitely a five star show! Excellent singers easy to watch and easy to sing along. We chose the buffet and there was no regrets there. Excellent service good

Saw Marie Osmond here. Wow the stage is the perfect size & there's plenty of seating for hundreds of not a thousand.

Wonderful venue. Facility is acoustically well done, perfect size for intimate concerts. Staff is perfect and atmosphere is professional. The building is always well kept and clean. Crowds move quickly through all portions, with wide hallways and knowledgeable staff.

Nice cozy relatively small theater in the upstairs of the blue gate restaurant that hosts musicians, comedy acts, and great plays and musicals, all very professionally produced. No bad sight lines, and the sound system is great. Reasonable process for what you get! Park across the street and cone in the restaurant entrance.

We cannot get enough of this place. A gem in such a small, beautiful and peaceful community. Fabulous shows playing 3-4 days every week of well known groups. We've been driving 2 1/2 hrs one way almost every month for shows we want see. There are so many we want to see we can't do them all but what a great theatre to go to as there are NO bad seats at all. We just got back from seeing Gene Watson and Eagles tribute in which both were phenomenal!!! Ricky Scaggs show so good we want see him again!Blue Gate restaurant is where we eat and cannot get enough of it. It's the only place we want to eat at while visiting!!! A must go to place!

Food was good. Had fried chicken and meat loaf .Fried chicken was so salty I could barely eat it. Our service was good even if they were so busy .

This is a great place small venue no matter where you're at in the auditorium you can see the stage. The audio was nice and clear it wasn't blasting on like other places I've been to.

worked here for the longest time, it was fun place to work, called off in June and didn’t get the day off, and was mainly fired for that. (It was a birthday party scheduled since June) and was told just because I called off doesn’t mean I get the day off. I want to add on; Management of the higher ups absolutely suck and is unprofessional.. I loved working around my host staff, overall experience there though was that they DIDNT schedule off workers when needed and they’re super petty and like to threaten everyone with “well fire you” so, if you wanna work here then don’t. Thanks!

Never a bad seat in the house when I see a show here! Tonight The Robert Cray Band! What a performance! This is my 1st time seeing them and im blown away from that energy and feeling with every note! Thank you for this spectacular show!

Great show, really nice friendly staff. Could use a little traffic control to get out of parking lot after shows
Robert C — Google review
Loved the artist we saw. The sound was great. Venue was clean. Adequate parking. Seats are roomy with good leg room. Here's my complaint... I set an alarm to make sure I was in front of my computer to buy good seats for this concert. I paid for the good seats. And yet, security did nothing about the people who crammed themselves up by the stage and in the aisles. So instead of 2nd row, I had more like 6th row. See photo for context. Next time, I'll buy the cheapest seats and just cram myself in front of the first row if this is the behavior they allow. Would also like to add, handicapped patrons couldn't see anything over the people standing at the front.
Amber R — Google review
Our first time to this venue and we loved it! We would have liked to see more than “movie theater” snacks but overall it was a good experience. Good to be able to buy beer in a town that prohibits alcohol (had to go to neighboring LaGrange to have a drink with dinner) but $9 for a 12oz blue moon was crazy! Won’t keep us from coming back but good to now know some details and wanted to pass them along.

Four of us attended the play: When calls the heart. We thoroughly enjoyed the play & the actors were incredible, especially the two lead actors. We enjoyed the songs, backdrops, & the break in the middle of the play. I did think the diet coke I purchased for $4.00 was priced too high. If it were $2.00 it would have provided them plenty of profit.

Sprawling museum home to 400 cars & motorcycles, plus a restored 1941 diner still serving pecan pie.
We had such a good time. The $20 we spent for admission was so worth it. You start at the front desk. Head into the museum from there, and it all starts. My favorite was the section that had the cars from the 20's and 30's. The cars look almost like they were designed with art deco in mind. Bill and Steve were awesome in their knowledge. Bob drove us around in a Model T. Even the food at the diner was awesome, along with the staff. The grounds are so clean and well taken care of. Kudos to all that are a part of this museum. I would recommend to anyone to go.

Best vehicle museum ever. It's like a little city with different makes of car dealerships housing old cars. Some of the buildings are very old and were transported to this site. It's a must see and has something for everyone. There are restrooms throughout, food and drinks and a gift shop. Plenty of ramps for wheel chairs, strollers, etc. Extremely well kept property with caring staff.

What a phenomenal museum! A friend told us about this museum and we planned a visit on a Saturday after seeing a show in Kalamazoo. A few exhibits were closed because we visited in March, but it hardly mattered. There were enough cars and exhibit areas to keep us occupied and enthralled for hours. The collection of cars is impressive and the documentation and historical information is excellent. Volunteers and docents are engaging, passionate and know their stuff. Highly recommended.

Have been here twice now and each time it never disappoints. There are cars and bikes that you remember but still bring a smile to your face. Then there are several new displays as well to add to the enjoyment of this place. Couldn't beat the amazing road trip to reach this destination in the middle of nowhere. Make sure to stop at the little Amish stand down the road. Her canned goods are amazing! Can't wait to visit again next year!

I went on a school field trip so things were a bit rushed this time. This place is huge and has so many things to see, too many to see in one day honestly. The people giving lessons are volunteers who love to teach the history, and there are many aspects of history to appreciate.

Great place for everyone. Tons to see and well organized and curated. Something for everyone cars, slot cars, motorcycles and a dinner. Great place to visit especially one of the big car shows during the warmer months.

If you like cars, especially classic cars, this place is a must-go. They have hundreds of cars in different barns, all with different themes. From steam cars, to Cadillacs, Lincolns, to an entire barn with all the different types of Model T variants. There is something for everyone here! They also hold car shows here during the warmer months which are great! I was there for the Swedish car meet and brought my Saab. It was fantastic talking with other Saab enthusiasts out in the fantastic weather. The museum features an on-site diner and bar with food such as hot dogs, burger, bratwurst, and frozen custard. There is also a venue on site to hold weddings. If you are within a days drive of this museum, I highly reccomend you make the trek here, you can easily spend all day here!

This museum is phenomenal. It is so well-organized. It’s clean, easy to navigate, and one of a kind. There is so much to see. I certainly wasn’t able to see it all in one day. We visited today and there was a car show going on at the museum. Staff was friendly, there was plenty of seating available if needed. Just a neat place that we will definitely visit again!

This far surpassed my expectations! Usually my husband and I zip through museums because he doesn’t want to read anything. The information about each car was so interesting and concise that we spent almost four hours here. There are many buildings with hundreds of cars. They are arranged by era or manufacturer. I saw cars that I had never heard of before. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I cannot express enough how amazing this museum is! I’m so glad we visited.

Gilmore Car Museum is entirely understated, being far from major metro areas and discrete locally. Don’t let the lack of marketing deter you from visiting. Even people who aren’t much into cars will appreciate the breadth and depth of the collection. The quality of the cars is nothing short of jaw dropping. With hundreds of cars on display, the car buff is transported to a circle of heaven.

Incredible collection of innovative automotive history. Display settings are thoughtfully unique, creating an immersive experience in which one can get lost in for hours on end. So many of the vehicles are connected to stories that tickle the imagination as your thoughts journey into bygone eras envisioning yourself in a Tin Lizzie in the early 1900's, to racing for pink slips in 60's and 70's American muscle or cruising the countryside in a vast array of luxury options from Bentley to Cadillac to Lincoln to Mercedes and Rolls Royce. A definite must see in quaint little Hickory Corners!! Oh, and their frozen custard is spectacular 🤤

Took a day-trip to the Volvo/Sabb Day and was so impressed by the museum. Well organized and so much history and cars! I had no idea that the museum was so beautiful and designed for visitors not to be overwhelmed.Details to know: the museum doesn’t allow outside food due to the fact that food sales support the museum.Little bit off the beaten path for arrival after exiting the highway, so make sure your phone is fully charged. There is even a building dedicated to motorcycles/history and Model T driving is available, but fills up fast on nice days.Lovely little day trip full of history and cars: Outstanding Gem of a museum- one of the top 5 in North America.

Stayed here Aug. 4th-6th while attending a conference for work. The set up of the room was really nice. A nice big screen TV and tablet by the bed for ordering and setting an alarm. Did not figure out how to use the separate alarm clock on the night stand. Carpets need to be cleaned.or replaced and drapes had a few stains on it. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was very spacious with a private section for the toilet. Excellent, friendly security and front desk staff. The elevators are very fast. Overall it was a nice stay.

Well it's a casino and it's very clean let's get down to the very important part. The food. Eat at the smoke and fire restaurant. It's very upscale they have tablets for menus. I got the rack of ribs with two sides mac and cheese and spicy coleslaw. Everything was good The coleslaw could be a little more spicy but was still delicious. The wife got the pick two with the spicy jalapeno sausage and the pulled pork. She enjoyed both of them she also got a Carolina beans and sweet potato pan bread and the corn cake. All of them were very good.

Casino is Chuck E. Cheese for gen-xers who miss Chuck E Cheese. Seating was a joke for the event that I saw which was Nikki Glaser. It's just a conference room. You can't see anything from 30 rows back. They did have two TVs that I could have seen from home. The staff was hit or miss, but consistent. One would be nice and then the next one would not. They did have a highly overpriced tho. Let's just say it's not the commercial.

I have fun in the casino, but I REALY LOVE the live shows! They almost always have $10 roulette tables 🤩This is a GREAT place to see live performances! It’s a relatively small venue, so you really get the up close and personal experience!I HIGHLY recommend checking out any live show at Firekeepers! Also, if you have a higher tier players card, the casino host can get you free tickets.

My hubby and I went this week and the king room was fine until my hubby wanted coffee. Well the pot hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. But housekeeping has the nerve to leave a scan for a tip. As I told my hubby, I ALWAYS take the linen off the bed b/c I hear how hotels don’t sometimes change the bed, clean the shower or coffee pots.

Loved this place till today. I saw on the kiosk i was invited to join the jackpot party, i had 1 entry the night before. Then on the day of, my entry just disappeared. The host/supervisor just say everyone can see it, but it is not the case. My bf cant see the invite, but i can. They said my jackpot party would have been in december, but i never gotten an email, like they said i should have with this one. I won 2 jackpots. Where are my 2 invites then? Take pics of your entries, these people will lie to you and false advertise. You can see i was invited. My entry just randomly poofed. Way to ruin an experience.....

The hotel itself is BEAUTIFUL - We stayed in a standard room with 2 beds, and it felt like we were VIPs. The amenities were awesome also. The pool is 2 levels and has small fountains that spray a small stream of water (one on each side). We played some at the casino (which is gorgeous). We tried most of the restaurants, and the food was fantastic. We were usually given so much that we couldn't eat it all. We REALLY enjoyed our stay. The next time we visit, we would like to stay in one of the suites (they have fireplaces).

Loved the atmosphere. Had the pulled pork sandwich with the garlic cheddar biscuits. The sandwich was good, could have used a little bit more sauce. But the pork was tender and tasty. The biscuits, however, not good. They were edible but I was thinking they'd be the same as the Red Lobster biscuits. They were dry, tasteless and covered in honey butter? Not what I was expecting at all. Prices were extremely good for the location and atmosphere.

I suppose I could save some time and gas if I would just mail them a check, but seriously the wife likes to go and it's always good time. The slots are okay- win, lose, break even. I stayed overnight for a girl's trip on June 29th in a presidential suite. The hotel and casino are huge and have several restaurants and cafes and bars located inside. The lobby and rooms were clean but the room smelled heavily of cigarettes despite being non-smoking. There is a full kitchen and bar in the suite along with two separate rooms, many couches, a TV and a large dining table. There are multiple wrap around windows with a view of the parking lot.Room service was excellent and the breakfast selection was great. The casino was expansive with hundreds of slot machines and dozens of tables. It wasn't very crowded and it was easy to get a drink at the bar. There was some trash left at the machines and some were very close together.Overall a great experience, but expensive.

We love the casino and frequent there as much as allowed. If you look at the reviews that go back quite a few years... the biggest draw for people coming to the casino was the BUFFET. If your ever near Auburn Indiana I recommend visiting the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg museum. The cars here are priceless and beautiful. I had never seen any of them in my life, they are quite rare. I never even heard of Auburn or Cord. Really majestic, amazing craftsmanship. These cars are just breathtaking eye appealing mind blowing. There is history and it was so special. We spent 3 1/2 hours but could have made a day or so out of it. Simply spectacular space and collection. Another amazing stop on this journey. Also my wonderful co-pilot to enjoy it with.

The Cars are absolutely beautiful!Came for trunk or treating and it was the best experience. Beautiful beautiful cars. And thankfully this place is handicap accessible so I was able to enjoy this place with my children while still recovering from an injury is such a huge plus! If you haven't been here I would highly recommend it. The kids got to sit in a beautiful old antique car and race car which they thought was the coolest experience ever. Thank you for having such a great museum.

Had a great time here. With a great selection of featured vehicles between Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg, they also have an amazing selection of other vehicles from the time period, such as a 1930 V16 Cadillac, 2 aircraft, a Dodge Bros boat, Packard, and Lincoln. One could easily spend a few hours within the main building seeing all the cars, design elements, and other exhibits within. Would definitely warrant a return visit to see the exhibits again.

Had my wedding ceremony here, we only had about 30 people and a few months to plan it. Not only was it the wedding of my dreams, but everyone on their staff was so helpful, Alishia was awesome to work with, and the pictures turned out awesome. In the couple days that I visited, I didn’t even make it thru the whole museum because there were so many cars on display. The price of renting the building was unbelievably good. 100000% recommend for the best event ever, or just to look around!

Even if you are not a car enthusiast, this is a must-see. The history of Auburn, of EL Cord, and the beauty of the Art Deco style of the building is just wonderful. You can spend hours here.

This museum is easily one of the best in the nation. Fascinating history and information on the cars that some either don't know much about or lost away in the pages of history for the state of Indiana. This place has been on my bucket list for years and after nearly a decade, I finally came here and was not even the slightest bit disappointed. The staff, volunteers and overall atmosphere was absolutely incredible and I want to give Graham Geiger the hats off for not only taking me around the town of Auburn in his 1935 Auburn 851 Sedan but I got to drive it as well, fulfilling a life long dream of driving a car made after The Great Depression but before World War II. I want to give massive thanks to everyone who made this happen and to everyone who has put their prized possessions on display for car loving folk to read about, enjoy and above all, smile as these beautiful rides age with such timeless designs.

The building is absolutely stunning, inside and out! If you are a fan of art deco, 30's architecture/design, and/or enjoy seeing a by-gone era... this place is certainly worth a visit! Oh.. and if you like automotive history too.... then you will have an amazing time here! Amazing displays. Very friendly people too! Auburn is very lucky to have such a place!!! Certainly worth a visit and also a re-visit in the future.

One of the best car museums, anywhere. The cars are meticulously restored, with a couple in original condition. So many Auburn, Cord, and Deusenberg models and years. Then, many other years and kind of other cars that I did not even know existed.

This is an absolute must-see if you like historic, vintage automobiles. These are the luxury cars from before the big Depression days of the 1920s and 30s. These cars cost in the thousands back then and still hold up today. They were durable, built to last, and can operate at our current speeds of our Interstate highways! They are drop-dead gorgeous cars, and the history is amazing. The museum also has other vintage high-end cars along with a private plane and boat that the wealthy could purchase back then. The hood ornaments alone make an interesting display. But the other amazing thing about this museum is the fabulous art deco building, which was the original showroom and engineering offices for the cars at that time. The museum has brought the building back to life by taking her back to her glory days. The lights, the paint, and even the flooring are gorgeous! If you don't care about cars but love building architecture, then you must come see this museum. Not to be forgotten, there is also a muscle car and truck museum just behind the Auburn Cord Duesenburg museum called the National Auto and Truck Museum. You can purchase tickets for both at the ACDM counter.A very small complaint. We purchased a membership because we would receive a 10% discount in the giftshop, and we knew we would buy something. The man who was involved in our getting the membership was in the Giftshop when we came out hours later. He remarked, "Wow, you're still here!" We joked that we wanted to really embrace our membership! Unfortunately, when he rang up our purchase, he didn't give the 10% discount. When reminded of it, he said, "Well, it's all done now. I could re-enter everything, but there is no guarantee you will receive your refund from the first purchase." We tried to suggest some solutions, and he said, "That's way above my pay grade, and we would have to see if the man in charge is here and can make a decision." Feeling somewhat forced to accept it, we just walked away. Plus, the membership purchase did not include the other museum, so we had to pay again over there. However, this sour note did not ruin the fun had with all the amazing cars and history of the museum and does not deserve to ruin the 5 star rating.

This is an extraordinary museum. The cars are amazing but even more amazing is that the museum is in the original factory where the cars were designed and built. This is truly a must see auto museum.

We always have a wonderful time at the museum. If you haven't been, you should go at least once. The cars are amazing, and the history behind many of them is so cool.

With the exception of the rude lady at the front selling tickets, the museum was fantastic! The volunteers were totally delightful and liked chatting and were knowledgeable about the cars. I drove three + hours north to visit and if I lived closer, I’d go again.

My husband is a car fanatic, to put it mildly. We took a day trip from Indianapolis to visit the museum. Even if you are not a car enthusiast, it is an enjoyable day. The museum itself is beautiful and there is a lot of history to learn while there.

Even if you are just a passing car or truck fan, this place is Neat. I never realized there was so much history right here. There is a fee to enter but it helps them maintain and keep up. I really think it's worth it.

Very well presented. Was it worth $15 per adult? Yes, it was. 3 different floors filled with informative history.

If you haven't been to the ACDAM, you're missing out! Absolutely gorgeous vehicles, great history and knowledgeable staff. I would suggest visiting each museum on separate days.

My friends got married here last night and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Their ceremony was in the main building in the front showroom with the big staircase and it was so beautiful and unique. Their reception was in the back museum building which was breathtaking. It was amazing and I can’t say enough good things. Definitely one of the best wedding venues I have ever been to!Definitely a very cool museum!

What a fun day at the zoo. Weather was perfect. Hanging out with my sisters, exchange daughter from Denmark and my great nephew was great. The animals were active and fun to watch. The baby elephant was probably the most adorable animal at the zoo today. The Toledo Zoo never fails.

Excellent zoo! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My kids were well entertained for hours which is not easy to do. Only complaint is that they don’t let you bring in food and the food in the zoo is overpriced. 🦍🦧🦒🦛🐘🦅🐅🐊🦓🦏🦥🦭🐆🦚🐻

Really awesome zoo experience here. Everything seemed clean and spaces seemed well thought out and organized. You're able to get up close to most of the exhibits to get a better view. We enjoyed our time here. Plan on a 3-4 hour visit to walk the whole zoo, longer if you want to be more in depth. Would definitely come back another time!

I absolutely love the flow of this zoo! The habitats are built so that you can see the animals from more than one vantage point. That way, you are pretty much guaranteed viewing. Loved it so much I purchased a membership!! Great zoo!!!!

The sleep over at the zoo experience is the best! If you have the opportunity, go for it. We learned so much about the animals and their care. The kids had a great time.Adults - for sleepovers bring food if you can’t or don’t eat standard kid food 🍕🍪🧃.Staff is well informed and helpful. The older guy who shows the more dangerous animals is so knowledgeable and great with the kids.

The best zoo I've visited yet. It would be worth going just for the Museum of Natural History. The animal exhibits are immaculate as are the grounds. There are playgrounds and a large splash zone for kids. This place is stunning. You won't be disappointed.

I recently visited the Toledo Zoo and had a wonderful time. The zoo was well-maintained and clean, with plenty of animals on display. I was particularly impressed with the variety of species and the spacious enclosures. As a veteran, I was grateful for the free admission. It was a great way to spend a day out and appreciate the natural world. While there were a few animals that were not visible during my visit, the overall experience was fantastic. The aquarium was especially impressive, with a stunning array of marine life.I spent about four hours at the zoo and was able to see most of the exhibits. If you're looking for a fun and educational outing, I highly recommend visiting the Toledo Zoo.

My favorite Zoo! Beautiful exhibits, a terrific collection of diverse & unique animals & plants, and so many wonderful concerts & events to attend that keep you coming back throughout the year! Make sure to visit the Kookaburras, Red Pandas, River Otters, Polar & Grizzly Bears, Snow Leopards, Tigers, Giraffe Feed Deck, Komodo Dragons, Native Turtles, Tasmanian Devils, the Rose Garden & ALL the historic WPA buildings! I also highly recommend getting a membership! It pays for itself in two visits & gives discounts on food & merchandise purchases. So much to see & do at my must-do zoo! 💗

I love this zoo! So much to do and perfect for young kids! They had a weeknight promo for half off after 4pm, so stayed a few hours in the evening, but we could have easily spent all day! The little kids play area is so neat! There were tons to do for little ones who love to splash and play in the dirt (bring swimsuits and extra clothes/ towels!). The running stream was our kids' favorite, but there is something for everyone. I was happy to see the playground still around and the (newer) splash pad area! Petting zoo is so cute too! Great food options. I wish the carousel and train were included in admission-I don't know that we'd pay to do more than once- but they were pretty affordable.

Love the Toledo Zoo! Grounds are clean, lots of exhibits. Orangutans are always my favorite. Got to see the baby which was adorable. Mama was showing off her off to everyone. I bought a membership which = admission for me and one other and free parking. If you go to the zoo more than once per year, the membership is worth it.

The Toledo Zoo is a fantastic destination for families and individuals alike, offering a wide range of exhibits and activities that keep visitors engaged and entertained. One of the highlights for many visitors is the aquarium, where you can explore an incredible array of marine life. Another popular attraction is the poison dart frog tropical conservatory. It's always a fun challenge to grab the chart and hunt for all the different colors of these vibrant frogs, making it an educational experience as well. The zoo's commitment to interactive displays and knowledgeable staff truly enhances the visit. Whether it's learning about animal behaviors, conservation efforts, or simply enjoying the beautifully designed habitats, there's something for everyone. The hands-on experiences make it easy for children to learn and stay engaged, which is a huge plus for families looking to make the most of their visit. An annual membership to the Toledo Zoo offers excellent value, allowing unlimited visits throughout the year. This is especially beneficial for families who can take advantage of different seasonal events and activities. The zoo's dedication to providing a fun, educational, and interactive environment makes it a perfect choice for anyone looking to spend quality time while learning about the natural world.

Had a blast! The animals were so active today! We took advantage of the Zoo membership as it was cheaper for us to buy a membership for our family of 6 vs paying for each ticket. The membership also allows us half off some other zoos in the area! The red panda was SO adorable!

We love our Zoo!There are many animals to see/learn about. They offer several activities for children to do and even offer classes and camps for children and parents to attend. They put a lot of effort into the learning, games and crafts at their camps and classes. They have a small splash pad that my son loves, as well as many concessions to choose from.Animal demonstrations and opportunities to get up close and personal with animals like the sting ray touch tank. Feeding giraffes and others.

One of the best zoos I’ve been to! I really liked how the zoo is spilt up into 2 separate areas, because it seems to help things not be so crowded. My family and I had certain exhibits all to ourselves. Despite going on a VERY hot day (90 and up) a lot of the animals were active. We especially loved the aquarium. There were also plenty of staff/volunteers around the zoo offering facts and information. It’s a great place for kids.

We had a great time as always. The polar bear cubs were napping and annoying each other in the den. The merry-go-round was a hit! The snakes were super active that afternoon. The frogs were all over the path in the tropical exhibit in the museum. Their aquarium is also amazing, but sadly we were tuckered out. Toledo is an awesome zoo! Top notch.

Had an absolute blast at the Toledo Zoo/Aquarium. We had three families in town for a reunion and kids varying from 10 to 16 years old and they all had a great time. The poison dart frog area was a huge hit for kids and adults. Everyone had fun in the aquarium, seeing the new baby elephant, checking out the aviary and the rhino! We stopped for lunch at the BBQ place and it was good - corn bread was cold LOL but it was sweet & good.

The Toledo Museum of Art is an art museum located in the historic Old West End district of central Toledo, Ohio. The museum's collection features a wide range of art from classical to contemporary, and includes works by some of history's most well-known painters. The Glass Pavilion is one of the most popular attractions at the museum, and its curved glass walls are simply stunning.
I am so grateful to have such an incredible art museum in our city. My son & I frequent this place. We always enjoy ourselves. If and when he does get antsy about not interacting with the art, we just head downstairs where he can touch EVERYTHING! My little dude has been Culturally educated and inspired with the opportunities we've had to visit this place from such an early age. Thanks Toledo!🖼🎨🌃🎵😎

We’ve always had such fun going to the museum. When the kids were little, they would count cats. As we walked from gallery to gallery, there were cats everywhere! In paintings, jewelry, statues. Then they started to appreciate what was around the cats. When my granddaughter turned 9 3/4 we celebrated with a Harry Potter day. So we had to stop at the museum for the great hall, the cloister & we were REALLY careful sharing secrets with paintings and statues.

This place is well worth your visit. We stopped in for my wife's birthday because she had wanted to visit. We started at the Glass museum and watched a 2-hour glass blowing demonstration which was very informative and entertaining. We then made our way over to the museum and spent about two and a half hours walking through the exhibits. They have some amazing art and history in the museum. Some of the modern stuff was not to my taste but just because it's not to my taste doesn't mean that it wasn't good art. I do believe that all people should enjoy art as it is part of our history in this museum definitely has that on display. I would recommend coming early and enjoying the exhibits at your own leisure.

For free ($10 parking in their lot), it's a nice museum. The room with their ancient collection is especially nice with a great Roman statue and some complete mosaics. The rest of the museum isn't bad but not especially outstanding. The glass pavilion has two Van Gogh's and one Monet.

This beautiful complex is wonderfully curated which makes it easy and pleasant to experience the beauty presented. There is variety, history and culture.I discovered a Dutch painting of people enjoying themselves on the frozen canal. And there were men playing golf! Yes, in 17th C.! The golf clubs were similar to those used in the 1920s.There are many buildings on the acreage of the campus. One is the "glass" museum which also houses a glassblowing demonstration and the Impressionist hall. There is paid parking, but free entry. But be careful: if you switch parking lots to go to other buildings, it'll cost another $10. Better to walk across the street. The staff are pleasant and personable, and contributed to a marvelous experiences we had.

We took our grands to the museum for a little culture. The oldest captured images, fascinated by the visuals and absorbed by exploring new angles and different depths of field, with the passion of a young photographer. The youngest hopped up and down, squealing with delight and trying to touch everything - so excited by this new world of color and shapes. But the middle child surprised me because she heard music in every piece she saw and danced joyfully through the exhibits, blissfully immersed in the art she was feeling. Heavy sigh. Nothing is better than being a grandmother. ❤️🫠

First time visiting the museum. The staff was professional and friendly and the museum exhibits were awesome. Spent 3 hours and ran out of time. Looking forward to going back. The Caravaggio exhibit was special and I learned a lot about the artist, his life, and style. I have a new appreciation for art in the little time I spent there.

Wonderful curated sample of artwork and preserved spaces. It won't take you all day to view this collection. If you walk or take a bus it's free. You only pay for parking.
Russell A — Google review
The Toledo Art Museum is a really spectacular museum for such a relatively small town. It puts many big city museums to shame (it’s nicer than the Dallas or Atlanta art museums). There is a nice medieval/antiquities collection, as well as a gorgeous large scale Rubens in the main gallery worthy of the Met or a major European museum. Other highlights are two Rembrants, a nice Hals family portrait, an El Greco, a Turner, a Monet, Renoir, two Van Goghs, and Thomas Cole’s “The Architect’s Dream.” There’s also a nice glass museum across the street where the Impressionist/Post-Impressionist art is currently being displayed. Entrance is free, and parking is cheap and plentiful. I’d highly recommend a visit.

Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial is a must-visit attraction on South Bass Island. The 352-ft.-tall column commemorates the Battle of Lake Erie and offers breathtaking views from its observation deck. Visitors can enjoy historical reenactments and lessons from park rangers, gaining insights into the War of 1812. The memorial serves as a tribute to those who fought in the battle and promotes peace among the US, UK, and Canada.
This place is really impressive. You don't really get a feel for exactly how tall this monument is, until you are standing underneath of it looking up. It was a shame that we weren't able to go up to the observation deck, as out time was short, and the line for the elevator was way too long. What an awesome view the property offers though. Truly an honorable memorial for Perry. Next time we come, we will make it a point to ride up to the top. I'm sure that the view is breathtaking

09/21/2024 - The Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial is a sight to see and a must visit. The architects were Joseph H Freelander and Alexander D Seymour Jr. from NYC, and the Doric column was built in 1913 to honor Commander Oliver Hazard Perry’s victory in the Battle of Lake Erie (nps.com, 2024). The memorial is made of stone, granite blocks, marble stone, and bronze engraving. Gulf cart parking out front. There is also parking at the Visitor Center. There is only a 10.00 fee to go up to the observation deck. I was not able to make it to the observation deck. This memorial is guarded by officials during visiting hours. Beautiful scenery driving to and through the memorial. Enjoy!

If you want the most fantastic view of the island, you can only go here. It has an elevator to the top to see the whole surrounding islands and area. The monument has great information in the visitor center that tells you all about the battle, history, and the people involved. It is run by park service folk that will answer any of your questions and are friendly and professional. It is also one of the taller monuments in all of the United States. It truely is a beautiful monument, view, and amazing part of history.

Our family recently visited Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial, and it was an amazing experience. The views from the top are stunning, offering a breathtaking panorama of Lake Erie and the surrounding islands. The historical significance of the memorial, commemorating the Battle of Lake Erie and promoting peace, made it even more meaningful. The visitor center had engaging exhibits that for both adults and kids alike. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend for a family day trip!

Didn't go up: I didn't buy a ticket at the visitor center some distance away. Rotonda is accessible but not the monument. 35 steps up is the elevator that takes one to the top observation deck. Must be a fantastic view, as is looking across the lake from the ground.

We took the Ferry to get to the island to see this monument. You have to go to the Visitor's Center to schedule a time & buy tickets to go to the top. We ran into a problem, though. The elevator quit working while we were at the top. We got stuck up there for about an hour which pushed us to get back to the Ferry in time to leave for the day. You got to know everyone while up there. Luckily it was a beautiful day to be stuck.

Cedar Point is a mammoth amusement park with plenty of thrilling rides for visitors of all ages. With 17 roller coasters, it's one of the world's most popular destinations for thrill seekers.
Great price with the Summer season pass ($100). I was in town for a week and opted for this option. Parking was included.Great assortment of ride for all ages and the park was not too busy during the week mid June.I’m from FL and have been to all the parks in Orlando/Tampa. It is nice to have fewer people than at Disney plus this park is great for coasters!Food options are good but the price is what you would expect. If you plan on 10am-10pm day I would do the meal pass.

Cedar Point is often hailed as the "holy land" of amusement parks, and after our visit, it's easy to see why. With the most roller coasters of any park, thrill-seekers are in for a treat, and the park’s location along Lake Erie adds a stunning backdrop to the adrenaline-pumping rides. The views are spectacular, and it's hard to beat the mix of coaster excitement with lake scenery. We visited over Labor Day weekend, and arriving Friday afternoon was a smart move—it wasn't too crowded, so we got to enjoy several rides without long waits. However, the rest of the weekend was packed, and we only managed to get on a few more rides. If you're planning a trip during a busy weekend, I highly recommend getting there early in the weekend to take advantage of lighter crowds. The roller coasters themselves are fantastic, but we were pretty disappointed that their newest coaster, which we were looking forward to, wasn’t open yet. After driving seven hours, we were hoping to experience it, so that was a bit of a letdown.Food-wise, Cedar Point offers a good variety. While it’s solid overall, I’d rank it behind Universal, Disney, and Kings Dominion when it comes to theme park dining. Still, you won’t go hungry here, and there are some tasty options. The staff was always friendly, and the park was consistently clean, adding to the experience. One regret from our trip is not taking advantage of the exit that leads to the beach on Lake Erie. It looked like a fun way to take a break from the rides, and I’ll definitely try to fit that in on our next visit.Overall, Cedar Point lives up to its reputation with world-class coasters, great views, and a fun atmosphere. Just make sure to plan around the crowds if you're going on a holiday weekend!

Unfortunately the Top Thrill 2 coaster was not operational on this day but it was still a great time! Nice change from my home rides at Universal, Sea World and Disney World. The lines weren't long; however, the Maverick was constantly breaking down then reopening. That was very frustrating so after waiting in line for an hr hoping it would start, I gave up trying to ride it. The views of Lake Erie were spectacular!

Cedar Point is an absolutely beautiful place for a family getaway. The park is filled with stunning attractions that leave you in awe just by looking at them, and once you’re on the rides, the experience is beyond thrilling. The roller coasters are some of the best in the world, and the excitement they offer is indescribable. It’s an adrenaline rush like no other, perfect for those who love a good thrill. The park is also well-maintained and family-friendly, with plenty of options for all ages. We had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to come back!

We got a hotel on Sunday and spent Monday in the park. It was my two youngest sons first trip and they haven't stopped talking about it all week. Hour early access to the park and short lines made this a trip to remember. Top thrill 2 was intense and I love coasters so the fact that it was the longest wait of the day was quickly overshadowed by the adrenaline. If you can swing it you gotta get the fast pass, you won't be disappointed.

This was my first time in cedar point and it was a blast. My favorite area of cedar point was hands down the water park. Rode a decent amount of rides and the food was pricey but good. Some of the rides were way too big for me but for somebody that loves huge amusement rides, this is the place for them!

I was very impressed by the size of the park and the number and size of roller-coasters. A great park for teens but not as much for small kids.I do have one complaint, I wish they still had paper maps of the park for us older visitors that really Don't want to learn or choose to use our phone like that. Paper maps do a much better job of giving you a full picture of the park and makes the best souvenir. We ended up wondering around and becoming familiar with most of the park but did discover near the end of the day a part we had not found yet.

I hadn't been to Cedar Point in 6 years. Lots of new, updated rides!! The park was clean and surprisingly not crowded. Zero wait for any of the womens restrooms. There was nostalgic 90's music playing throughout the whole park all day. The employees were all friendly. The temperature was high 60's but a little chilly because of the wind off the lake. Several rides were closed for the day because it was windy. We got tickets online ahead of time with meal passes and saved a ton!Overall, I highly recommend. Minimal wait times for everything. Upbeat vibes. Very fun crowd.
Krissy S — Google review
We were really excited to check both the amusement and the water park. Both were a lot of fun, even if quite a few rides still weren't open.Good signage, maps and assistance from park employees. The biggest thing we were trying to figure out ahead of time, and again while at the park, was how to do both parks in one day since that was all we had.I feel that the website could be clearer as to how to do both parks in one day if that's all you have. They have bundle tickets for each park separately, but not to do both parks, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense for people who don't live here.We did get a pass that invoice included parking and food every 90 minutes. But all of the food is just standard meat and wheat. So if you can't eat gluten and are a vegetarian or vegan, good luck. As expensive as the food is here (like most amusement parks) giving some vegan/gluten free options would be extremely helpful for those of us that don't eat the SAD diet. The water park does not have any towels on site either. Which I also couldn't find on their website. So make sure to bring your own or you're out of luck.Overall, we had a good time and my kids were happy with the adventure. It just wasn't something I'd care to do again.

Alas, I had an exceedingly magnificent and tremendously gratifying time at Cedar Point. The queues were remarkably concise, the staff members exuded warmth and affability, and I must say, overall, it was a truly commendable second visit and left a lasting positive impression. The exhilarating roller coasters, delectable food options, and vibrant atmosphere truly made for an unforgettable and immensely pleasurable experience. I can hardly wait to visit again in the future! The excitement and joy that permeated the air from the moment I stepped into the park until the moment I departed was simply fantastic. Every ride I went on was an absolute thrill, and the food I indulged in was nothing short of delightful. Cedar Point unequivocally knows how to create an incredible and enjoyable atmosphere for visitors, and I am already eagerly anticipating my next visit to this amazing amusement park.

Just loved the staff, very helpful and friendly. Just loved the food, the different attractions, and the rides were amazing. A very fun adventurous day. Also, I had so much fun, that I did not realize all the good walking exercise, that I accomplished. Thank you, Cedar Point! All smiles 😃.

Cedar Point is the benchmark all other parks should be measured.Excellent execution all around.Staffing at each ride means faster cycles and happier guests. The drink stations are clean and organized with a lot of locations.Multiple kid areas with rides tailored for specific age groups.Top of the line roller coaster selection. Please implement the Cedar Point execution at all the Six Flags parks!

Cedar Point was a great experience. We took the VIP Tour with a fantastic tour guide. The rides were really enjoyable and the staff were friendly. Clean bathrooms.I would recommend the meal plan, great food options on it. Drinks included is worth it as well. If you're going for multiple days get parking included in your tickets! It's worth it.I wish there were fans, misters, or shade in the line queue because it was very warm.Drinks aren't too expensive if you go to the right places. The biggest reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the rides wouldn't stop going down. We missed a couple of coasters because they were always down. All around a great trip though!

For the thrill it's pretty awesome and they have plenty of places to shop and/or eat. My family stayed in one of their wheelchair accessible deluxe cabins but they weren't all that comfortable. For my little brother (the one that needed the wheelchair accessible portion) it was more than comfortable enough. I recommend you bring your own blankets if you sleep in any of their cabins since the ones they provide are thin and scratchy (but I guess that encourages you to buy a blanket and sweatshirt in the park). Everything was extremely expensive (as you would expect from a highly successful amusement park), but anything we bought was of decently good quality. Their Snoopy merchandise was also really cute. We went during the first weekend it was opened for the year. The Top Thrill 2 was only going for 1 day before they shut it down to make it more safe/comfortable (which was kind of a bummer because it messed with our coaster plans). If you are close enough to make this a one day trip, I would, but you'll be pretty tired at the end of the day, so plan accordingly. One thing that I noticed as did someone who works there talked to us about, it's not very accessible to those in wheelchairs (I'm not talking about the rides here). Most stores/food places don't have automatic buttons to open the doors and it would be a little difficult for wheelchairs to get through some doorways due to a little bump in the entrance. There should also be an additional area or two for those who are disabled and/or have mobility issues to just rest (away from the loud speakers and scorching sun). If they can make some changes to make the park more accessible and inclusive (without raising prices a ridiculous amount), I could see myself giving more stars.

Absolutely amazing experience! Best theme park trip I've had! It was impressively clean, well maintained, and all of the employees were dedicated to safety and their checklists. They were all helpful and pleasant, and fast! The weather was amazing, and the crowds were not bad at all. The well placed and thoughtful arrangement of the park in regards to seating and shade is second to none! 10/10!!

Have a really great day today. This was our first time going and the park was very clean and the right operators were definitely keeping the lines moving. The handicap elevator at Gemini was closed and so my husband had to walk up about 12 steps to get to the platform. However, everybody else was super nice when dealing with the accessibility passes. There are two or three different types of accessibility passes and they were pretty confusing to us, but it seemed like each ride handled them differently. I also had a disability pass and on some rides I didn't have as well of an experience as my husband did. I think it was because we had the two different colored disability sheets.Steel vengeance at night is amazing!! Highly recommend. The daily meal deal where you eat every 90 minutes was amazing for our party of five. We had a wonderful time today!

I’ve had an opportunity to experience similar parks scattered through the US, EU, & Asia and I must say I was certainly surprised as my expectations were exceeded. One thing that stood out was the high energy level & sincere appreciation reflected by most staff. My only recent comparison is from Disney & Universal, where the seemed more matter of fact & Cedar point staffers seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Either I drank some magic potion or had a bias. This place has literally been in my backyard (2 hours away) for 12 years and I’ve not given it an opportunity thinking it was just a hyped up carnival…oh was I wrong. I believe their niche is thrill rides. Most of the park consisted of high speed roller coasters, yet it still had a great mixture of smaller shows, water rides, a rides geared toward the smaller crowd (Peanut’s Snoopy area) which is great if your family has young & younger. The cleanliness level was superior! Ride lines were much more endurable vs. Disney or Universal (on average 20-30 minutes). In terms of value, a season’s pass is less than the cost of a daily ticket in Orlando. Food selection was better than average & less than you’d pay at a major sports venue. Thanks for reading my stream of conscious jabber. In short both my 8 year old son and I give this place two thumbs up! Lastly, there are more things and places to go nearby for the family…think a scaled down Pidgeon Forge.

I had an exhilarating time at Cedar Point Amusement Park! This park truly lives up to its reputation as the "Roller Coaster Capital of the World." The variety of rides is impressive, with something for every thrill-seeker. From the heart-pounding twists of Steel Vengeance to the high-speed drops of Millennium Force, each coaster offers a unique and unforgettable experience. The park itself is well-maintained, with friendly staff and plenty of amenities. If you're a fan of roller coasters or just looking for a fun day out, Cedar Point is a must-visit destination!

The views of Lake Erie are amazing, and the atmosphere is always fun. It's definitely worth the trip for a day of adrenaline! (All though I did get stuck at the top on Steel Vengeance)

Now my food was great! I will admit that the buffalo chicken on my Mac could have been seasoned a bit more but overall chef's kiss! Our waitress, Vicky was absolutely a doll! Super sweet, hospitable and professional but still carried a funny aura. Will definitely be coming back for her and the atmosphere.

Have been here many times with great food and service, had already eaten dinner there the past 2 nights. This evening though was very frustrated as I wanted to take my 13 year old and sit at the bar and have milkshakes. I found out sitting at the bar is for 21 and over, which doesn’t seem right for a family oriented resort. So we ordered them to go since it was a 30 minute wait for a table. After we ordered she said we could go sit at these tables and wait, so i said ok well we can just eat there, but she said we were not allowed because they are for take out only. Then our milkshakes come out and was very disappointed as they look nothing like the menu and were told because they were ordered to go. So I paid $40 for 2 milkshakes that I could have got at Dairy Queen for 1/4 of the price.

Vicky from B-Lux Grill & Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, her warm smile and attentive service made our dining experience truly exceptional. Not only did she anticipate our needs, but she also offered expert recommendations on menu items, ensuring each dish exceeded our expectations. She even took the perfect polaroid of me and my husband that we are going to adore forever! Her professionalism, combined with genuine friendliness, elevated our evening to new heights. Vicky's dedication to providing top-notch service is commendable, and she is undoubtedly a valuable asset to B-Lux. We can't wait to return and be greeted by her welcoming presence again! Also have to add, the music that they were playing were definitely 10/10!

First time coming to Kalahari and after looking at the dining options I knew we had to try this place because of the milkshakes. Went our first night and ended up coming the second night as well. The food is amazing and the portions are great for the price. When we went the second night we finally got the milkshakes, strawberry cheesecake and the lost weekend boozy milkshake, and both were amazing and well worth it. Also have to mention how nice all the staff is and especially Jacob who was our waiter the second night! He definitely made us laugh and made the experience better not to mention helped us give his opinions on what to get as far as food. (which fyi he was right ;)

Drinks were great!Everyone was super friendly, we got right in with no wait.By far the best dining experience we have had in a long time!

Our server Mike was really nice, but the experience overall wasn't worth it. The food is very expensive (burgers are 20+) and doesn't taste good (virtually no flavor or seasoning on anything). We ordered two burgers both cooked medium and they were well done and tasted dry. The loaded pub chips we had as an appetizer were stale and hard to chew. The redeeming factor are the shakes, we had the oreo one and it was really delicious. Don't be fooled by the bougie atmosphere though because besides the shakes and service, this place stinks.

Our waiter Tre W was incredible. I was waffling between two options and he gave honest and amazing advice leading me to one of the best turkey burgers - and best turkey anythings!! - that I’ve ever had. And the cocktails (or milkshake if you get a non-alcoholic one) are absolutely phenomenal and worth the price of admission alone! One of the best eating experiences I’ve ever had.

Robyn was an awesome waitress. She smiled the whole time we were there. She was friendly and kind and contributed largely to our positive experience. The food was also very good: servings were large, flavor good, temperature appropriate for the food. The milkshakes are just ridiculous - in a good way.The only suggestion I have is that you should find a different type of paper towel to sit on the table. The roll we had had food all over the top of it, someone probably laid his/her dirty hands on the top of it to pull one off of the roll.Thank you for the wonderful family experience!

This place is amazing and I would highly recommend coming here. Our waiter was great. He noticed our table was a bit small and asked us if we wanted to go to a booth instead, so we did. Plenty of room for us to eat. He was over all very attentive and always made the effort to check in on us.The wait time was nothing. We got seated immediately and probably waited 15-20 minutes for our food.I ordered the B-Lux burger and oh my, if you want everything on a burger, this is what you should get. I felt like I had the whole kitchen in one bite! It was bursting with flavour and character. I’ve never had anything else like it before. The fries were not my favourite though. They reminded me of a mix between potato chips and Tostitos. Not my style of fry. Overall great experience.

We came on a slow weekday, Thursday, beginning of February, and we really enjoyed it! No wait lines for anything, we received our food really fast! Our waitress was amazing and the food was great! Very generous portions! We really weren't sure how this restaurant would be being a part of a waterpark resort but we were plesantly surprised!Very nice, comfy, quiet ambience to relax from the busy and loud waterpark! Very clean and well maintained.I tried the korean glazed salmon and my husband is always weary of restaurant salmon but he almost ate all of my meal after trying it because it was really good! Nice and juicy salmon, and the veggies and rice it came with was wonderful.Jusy make sure if you are coming from the waterpark, don't come in with your bathing suit. They require you wear shoes and shirt over your bathing suit to enter the restaurant.Overall, highly recommend!

Nature & Parks
Point Pelee National Park is a small but scenic area located at the southernmost tip of Canadian mainland that features numerous beaches and opportunities for observing birds and butterflies. The park's location on a migratory bird path makes it an ideal spot to view various species of winged creatures, including Monarch butterflies. Visitors can stroll along boardwalks in the marshes, climb lookout towers for breathtaking views, or relax on sandy beaches.
The Southern-most point on the Canadian mainland is worthy of a full day trip. The marsh boardwalk is amazing and best enjoyed when the sun is not overhead. The "tip" is fascinating and a great place to watch the sapphire water and lots of birds. And if you can stay late, it becomes a star-gazers paradise.

Beautiful, easily accessible national park which should not be missed if you are in southern Ontario. We were there in early October 2024, and there were little to no crowds. There is a free shuttle from the visitor center to the point trailhead, and the hike to the point is very manageable, even for someone like me who walks with a cane. The scenery is quite stunning. Overall, a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of our fall break.

I love this place❤️❤️. It was amazing to walk on the shore and explore the trails. The parking lot closes to the tip will only operate in off season. So during the summer it’s 30mins walk one way from the parking lot next to visiting centres. It’s really calm and sereine place. As usual spotted some poisonous ivy as well during the walk. The lookout is currently under construction. The one side of the shore is calm and the other side is with huge waves literally feel like an ocean. Must visit. Restroom available at visitor centre.

We can. explore the southernmost tip of mainland Canada, hike scenic trails, and enjoy the beauty of the Marsh Boardwalk. Birdwatching is a major attraction, especially during migration seasons. The park provides a peaceful escape, with opportunities for kayaking, picnicking, and renting bikes. It's perfect for a day trip, combining both adventure and tranquility in a unique natural setting. The park is compact but packed with things to do, making every visit worthwhile.

I recently visited Point Pelee National Park and had a wonderful time. The park is beautiful and offers a variety of activities for nature lovers. One of the highlights of my visit was the convenient shuttle service from the Visitor Center to Point Pelee. This service is a great addition, as it saves visitors from a 40-minute walk, making the park more accessible and enjoyable. One of the most stunning features of the park is the walkway that extends to the southernmost tip of mainland Canada. This unique path has Lake Erie on both sides, providing breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, photography, or simply soaking in the natural beauty. The restrooms were adequate, meeting basic needs, though there is room for improvement. Additionally, the family entrance fee of $17.50 is quite reasonable, making it an affordable outing for families.Overall, Point Pelee National Park is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors.

We went for a day trip there, It was a great and relaxed experience. Entry was around 9 CAD per adult but if you are a family then total family group cost will be 17 which they will take care of themselves which is impressive. Then you can park your car in a parking lot near the visitor centre and it has washrooms, drinking water facility and a free shuttle to the tip running frequently all day till 7 pm. From the park entrance till visiting centre, You will have multiple options to go to beaches on your right side with parking facilities in case you want to visit beaches directly instead of visiting centre. Enjoy your trip 😊

We love this place. So much to do if that's what you're interested in. We brought our own kayaks and launched them at the rental facility. The launch dock is extremely easy to use. Exploring the marsh from the water was amazing. Came face to face (within a meter) with my first beaver. Once you boat to the other side of the marsh you access another beach on lake Erie. There were no other people in sight. It was super sunny and very hot. Wear a hat and lots of sunscreen.

The park has lots of things to do, bike, hike, kayak, swim, camp, or just enjoy the beautiful vistas. It is not super large so we were able to do a lot in just one day, the northwest beach was great for relaxing, sandy, no waves and modest incline so it was perfect for throwing a frisbee and a good long swim. Parking, picnic tables and washrooms were all nearby and clean. No reservation is needed for day use, just pay the parking fee (17.50 cad per car) we visited on a Sunday and it was not crowded at all, the only crowded part was the tip, the line for the shuttle that takes you there may get long but it runs every 15-20 minutes so you may wait have to wait on line depending on the time of day or you could spend that time walking there instead.

This was my first visit to Point Pelee NP and I would defintely recommend checking it out if you are in the area. A family pass for a day is $17.50 and it includes shuttle to the point. The shuttle takes you close to the point and you walk a bit to actually get to the southernmost point of mainland Canada. The park offered plenty of beaches for swimming as well as restrooms and hiking trails. Best to stop at the visitor center for a map so you know what to do and where! We swam at Sleepy Hallow and it was very nice and peaceful.

Fresh food market
West Side Market is a vibrant and bustling public market in Cleveland, established in 1912. It is the city's oldest market and offers a wide range of fresh food options. With over 100 vendors, visitors can find an array of meats, seafood, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, dairy products, flowers, ready-to-eat foods, spices, and nuts. Exploring this historic market is a delightful way to spend an afternoon.
This old time Market offers so much from the vendors. We brought coolers to take food back home (out of state) because we have nothing like this near us to compare to this Market which sets on the near West Side of Downtown Cleveland. This Market has fresh meat, fresh pasta, breads, a variety of sweets and more. You can even get something to eat at the Market. We have had a couple of meals since returning home with our choices. One of our choices were stuffed chicken with a ranch flavor and wrapped with bacon - Fantastic. Ribeye steaks which had been freshly cut. Very Nice. Looking forward to fresh pasta.

We stopped here because everyone said it was one of the places you HAD to see. The parking is limited but if you arrive early you should be fine. The first 90 minutes are free to park. The fruit and produce area was pretty small. The main area had the bakeries, meat counters, and international products. We got a chicken pasty at the Irish deli, and it was really good. If you have the time, you can find the best prices.

Visiting Cleveland on holiday and decided to check out the West Side Market. This place was great with wide variety of fresh seafood, bakeries, meat, produce, cheese just to name a few. You can pick up a coffee but it more a fresh market than eating. There is a little cafe which was very busy. The building is really cool and a great space. Make sure you climb the stairs a one end for a great view. Definitely worth checking out.

My husband and I travel the country full time. During our local stay, we added West Side Market to our list of things to see and do.We entered the food area first. It is a gorgeous building with a nice run since 1912.We purchased meats from Jim's; we have not tried them yet so we cannot review the vendor. But they look great! We each got something different to eat for lunch. My husband got a brat from Frank's and he enjoyed it. I got a gyro from Steve's. I'm sorry, but I don't know how it has decent ratings and appeared on any TV shows, because it was so disgusting I tossed it after a couple bites. Half of the meat was thick and fatty and I don't even know what the sauce was. And I am displeased that I paid $13 for it and had to get cash from the ATM that charged additional fees. The only good thing about Steve's was that the girl behind the counter was pleasant. We purchased pastries from Euro Sweets and tried one of them...so far so good. The last thing we did was walk fruit/vegetable row before we left. We should have avoided this area. Vendors yelled at us to purchase from them as we passed by. Nothing more annoying than that. We got to the last two vendors before the parking area and I wanted to get sweet corn. The last vendor on the right had corn and green tomatoes. He was slightly pushy but I got only what I wanted. I wish I would have left without making the purchase. Once we returned to where we were staying, I noticed the corn husks were musty. I shucked them and the cobs stunk too. All vegetables went in the trash. A couple terrible purchases made it a huge disappointment in the West Side Market. It's too bad...this place could be so nice....

What an amazing place! I've never seen so many different kinds of vendors with such colorful and beautiful products, not even at the local farmers market or state fair. We spent two hours walking through, trying to decide what we had to try and what we had room for in our stomachs lol if you plan on going to Cleveland, make sure you add this place to your itinerary!

A must-visit location on any trip to Cleveland! This place offers an incredible variety, from fresh produce and aromatic spices to quality meats and delicious pastries. Among the many shops, you can find some real gems that make this market truly special.Unfortunately, post-COVID, there seem to be fewer vendors, possibly because some never recovered or found the costs too high to return. It's a real shame, as the diversity of vendors is one of the things that makes this market so unique.

This review is a sad one, I went to the market on a Thursday bc I forgot to double check the hours of operation. I noted this but overlooked my notes that day bc I was excited to try a nearby restaurant. There is very cheap parking less than $5 an hour in a paid lot nearby, and it would've been easier to spot the entrance if the building wasn't closed. These shops provide a space for local vendors to flourish, and it's one of the best places to score a bit of diverse snacks, beverages, and lunch. If ever in Cleveland again, I plan on going back to try many vendor's offerings and explore their shops. If you like farmer's markets and one-stop places to explore bargains and people watch, this may be the perfect place to visit. I felt safe parking and exploring solo. There are a few panhandlers in the area that I helped that day, but in these trying times, it's nothing like Nashville or Atlanta level. At any rate, stay safe, be a blessing, and be blessed.

Nice Marketplace! A good variety of food, especially meat products. Prices for vegetables are a little higher (and not better quality) than in a grocery store. I think shopping in the vegetable section isnt worthwhile, but for meat, cheese, or specialty food items it is great--there the price and quality is much better! Also, Rita's is the best place for anyone looking for olives! You should also try the brats from Frank's!

1st time visitors on a Saturday afternoon around lunchtime. Parking lot was packed but lots of people were coming and going so be patient. So many food choices! It was cool just to wander thru before picking things to eat. Try a bunch to get a wife variety of tastes!

What a unique shopping experience! I wish I could compare it to something else, but I can't.Just walking in felt like a foreign experience to me. 2 outdoor covered aisles that were almost entirely fruit and veggies. Then, the best part is the actual indoor market. There must've been about 50 unique little stores. All of which were counterpoint service. You could find small hot food shops, butcher and seafood counters, a handful of delis, bakeries, and specialty shops for things like olives, hummus, and pierogies. As I was in the main building, I noted that it felt similar to the main building on Ellis Island in NY (if you've gone there).Everyone was super cool and was willing to talk about their product and explain how it's made.I wish they had one of these (just like this) in Chicago. The village farmers' markets there just absolutely pale in comparison.I don't know when, but I'll be back.

Love coming here!!!!! All the different sweets, breads, spices, meats, fruits and veggies is crazy!!! Everything is super fresh and delicious. Never had a bad experience no matter what vendor we bought from. A definite must go to spot if you're visiting Cleveland

A must see in Cleveland. A great place to sample local favorites. My husband likes to cook and REALLY wanted to buy some of the fresh meats and seafoods, but since we were from out of town, we were not able to partake in that particular experience.

It's always a great time hanging down at the West Side Market. The large selection of meats and the eye-catching bakery never fail to meet expectations. You could just spend, spend, spend here. There are too many different foods to list!Must-go if you're only visiting in Cleveland.

Such a cute hidden gem! Food was amazing, we were sat right away and they were definitely busy for a Sunday morning. Reasonably priced my smoked salmon bagel sandwich was honestly the best I have ever had. Patio was so cute. Loved this place.

Always a great time, fresh fruit, good meats, good snacks, right up the street from Mitchell's ice cream, plenty of good places to have a beer or a high-end dinner. Do some arcading or duck pin bowling. Great side of town!

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a museum dedicated to the history of rock and roll. It features displays on the music, the performers, and the industry. The museum is located in Cleveland, Ohio.
This was absolutely worth the long drive across 3 states. I could spend 2 days here just soaking in all of the rich history. What I found most impactful is learning about early music history and the extensive contribution of African Americans. This is well arranged and laid out. The pace was up to my group and the Elvis portion was a must. If you love music, history, or culture then this is a place for you. Great for families although small children may not be as enthusiastic.

Brought back a lot of good memories. I loved how various songs were playing while you walked from one exhibit to the next. Several different tunes were playing at the same time, but they never interfered with each other. Great exhibits. Lots of cool factoids on plaques in and around the exhibits. We were able to purchase tickets as soon as we entered the building and we're able to start our self-guided tour immediately. Lots of helpers staged throughout the exhibits to answer any questions you might have while you toured.

Cleveland Rocks! The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was well worth the drive from Kentucky. We stayed the entire day. Great value for the money. Cafe has great food options so we didn’t have to leave the museum to look for food. Fun gift shop. Easy parking at nearby garage. So much to see. A great tribute to so many music legends. Wish it was even bigger and we were excited to see construction in progress! Our only regret, besides not coming sooner, was we didn’t buy a museum membership because we can’t wait to go back.

A great experience as always. Rotating exhibits, great gift shop, and so much music history. Nice concerts. Allow ample time to explore and rock away!

Really neat place for the music enthusiasts! So much to enjoy. The Garage lets you jam out and you can create your own band logo sticker. Fun for everyone. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place to visit in Cleveland. Really enjoyed the displays and the museum layout. Special event theatre is unique, and I got to enjoy music and discussion with Sue Foley. The gift shop has a lot to offer, including albums.

Just was there last week and I could not believe how much stuff is stored in this building. It took us 3 hours! And that's with not knowing everything and reading everything. There was another couple that had been there for 5 hours!!! If you have a hard time standing or walking this is not the place for you it's 6 floors tall! It was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend.

They owe me absolutely nothing. This place is absolutely amazing. It has a total of 7 floors and none of them will disappoint you. It is well worth every penny. It was so awesome seeing all the history of music and the different genres of music. I highly recommend visiting this place just be sure you have good walking shoes and at least 2 hours yo spare. 10 out of 10.

Great visit! Cleveland did it right. Lots to see and lots to experience. No wait to get in early in the morning and they even have drinks and food. Overall they could do a better job showing more artists history as some only have a name on a wall. Favorite was the blotter and the beginning of the exhibit showing how far we have come to support artists for their unique style and genres. People think about where we are today and how much artists had to endure hate from religious zealots for no reason just like current climate. You'll laugh and cry at the same time.

We went to the Temple of Rock last week. Commoners worshiping uncommon people. $75.00 for two…I thought the level where you could play drums or guitars was cool for musicians and commoners. All my heroes were there.. Jimi’s wall was great, Freddie’s shoes, Michael’s glove….

Highly recommend if you love music and history in general, but specially rock! The collection inside is amazing and vast! We didn’t buy tickets in advance and were able to buy it on the spot, $35 plus tax (September 2025).

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame deserves a five-star review for its exceptional tribute to the history and impact of rock music. The museum offers a captivating and immersive experience, with its extensive collection of memorabilia, interactive exhibits, and detailed displays that celebrate rock's greatest artists and moments. From the iconic outfits and instruments to the engaging multimedia presentations, every exhibit is thoughtfully curated and provides deep insight into the evolution of rock music. The hall of fame itself is a highlight, honoring the legendary artists who have shaped the genre. The facility is well-maintained and the staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, adding to the overall experience. Whether you're a die-hard rock fan or just curious about the genre, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a must-visit destination that truly rocks.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is certainly worthwhile if you are passing through Ohio. It is a bit on the pricier side but has plenty of content to keep you busy for at least 2 hours. It is easiest to get your ticket online ahead of time and you'll get an admission wristband on the entry floor. The musuem is well kept up and had lots of interesting displays.
Edward B — Google review
I really enjoyed my time here. It was much bigger than I expected. There are 6 floors. There is a gift shop, a place to eat and if you are able to catch a show I highly recommend you do it's great it's included in the ticket price and not that long it's a great experience. Make sure to give yourself time to arrive early to find parking in case you need to walk, especially if you booked for a time.

What a great way to spend the day…. Surrounded by friends, young and old. Remembering performers, songs, lyrics, costumes, and wonderful memories. The Beatles exhibit was amazing, but so were seeing all the other exhibits of music, punk, rock and blues greats. Can’t wait to visit again and enjoy the Hall with my kids.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame should be on everyone's bucket list. There is so much to take in, and you see so much more with each passing. I recommend getting there early and using the whole day to get the full experience. I look forward to my next visit.

Really interesting place. Got to see all kinds of legendary music groups items and some replicas. It took about 3 hours to see it all, then went back, though, to see some exhibits that were busy the first time, though. I will definitely be back after Ozzy Osbourne goes into the Hall of Fame! If you like music, then this is a must-see!

We went on a Sunday, it was an easy drive to get to the place and found a nearby parking garage, which was a life-saver for the parking! We had pre-planned and ordered our tickets ahead and paid for them. Super easy to do and highly recommend, as even getting there at noon for our time slot, it was getting busy. I was kind of thinking a Sunday would be a little slower and quieter, but that was not the case. The kids had a great time making band names and printing stickers to take home. They enjoyed seeing all the clothing and memories that were there. We did not take a lot of pictures at all, as it was insanely crowded to walk around. All in all, it was a fun trip, something we do not do every day and I’m sure they will enjoy going back in 10 years or so.
Michelle S — Google review
Really enjoyed, highly recommended if you’re visiting and love music & History (especially Rock!!)Not ideal for young kids, although they have an awesome “garage band” area with instruments anyone can play that is very cool for older kids and adults alikeAmple paid parking right nearby, especially because it’s next door to science museum, harbor, and stadium.Amazing to see the details, cultural context, backstage info and rich history of Rock N Roll through the agesWorth the ticket price, but frugal folks should steer clear of the gift shop 😂

Located in Public Square, the casino features over 100,000 square feet of gaming space, along with a variety of restaurants and bars. There is live entertainment throughout the evening, as well as over 500 slot machines and 100 table games.
Always a great place to visit! The best experience is to come by light rail RTA and everything is inside. I used to go here when Jacks was Higbees. The lower level is a buffet, mall food court is how I can best picture it. Well done and clean with a lot of diners but I peesonally did not think the food looked as good as it could for a casino. If you liked this Jacks, go to Jacks Thistledown and that is a whole different experience.DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO:Downtown - Has table gamesThistledown - Has live horseraces during the spring summer and fall on select days usually Mon - Thurs.Downtown - more casino workers are visible and interacting with patronsSAFETY!!!!Downtown - I grew up here in the 60's...Here means right here, you could see the terminal from my neighborhood 3 miles south, it was the tallest building in the skyline by far. Look up, see all the buildings taller? NONE OF THEM WERE THERE!!! Personslly I think Key Bank is an eyesore piece of architecture. It was safe to ride my bike downtown, alone at age 13, or ride the rapid or the bus out. Today, be aware of your surroundings OUTSIDE. It is a casino and you are watched everywhere so you are good inside and most of the perimeter outside. Even in the entrance at Public Square (Tower City) There were three Jacks yellow shirted security guards. Not shitting you, one looking north, one east, one west with Jacks door in the back. Coincidence? I notice good security like this so yes, I felt safe there. Once you leave the grounds, yuu are on your own. My point being "The Terminal Tower, Higbees (now Jacks), public square, and Prospect and Ontario aren't like they were 50 years ago."HOW TO BUS TO THISTLEDIWN JACKS:Your bus will be a eastbound will say 19, 19A, or 19B.If you want a fun easy way to get there take the RTA bus.Daily fare one way is $2.50 so grt a full day pass. That is a round trip ticket cost but it still is good it you want to run around downtown.I often take the bus as it is safe and reasonably priced with clean busses. The route is 19/A/B at Ontario and Prospect right outside Jacks door. It is a 45 minute ride. Please see my Jacks Thistledown review on google maps.

The place was packedIt seems everyone I sat next to all said the same thing. Why does MGM pay so well and Jack does not. They are closer to Jack where they live, but are now willing to drive further to win. Oh, we all win something, but not for what we spend. The food in the buffet at Jack is never the same twice. The only thing that is the same is the fried chicken. It is always over fried and you can't eat it. What a waste of money. Why feed us food we can't eat. The salad bar has a wonderful selection. However it is nasty most of the time. Especially the salad dressing. People slop it all over, and no one cleans it up. Soup is good. Granted, we are the ones who slop it up, Sorry. I just don't like eating food where the food area is nasty.

Pathetic experience. Absolute lack of customer service. No information about cost, parking, benefits and play time and money investment provided by the customer service. This place is a capitalist money-minting machine. Casinos in the US should be banned, or at the least, the hospitality and casino industry in US need to be sent to Europe and Asia for training. The US has forgotten to learn the meaning of hospitality, efficient customer service and genuine business ethics. They absolutely don't care about the feedback made to them. Definitely not spending a cent in US hospitality and casino industries. They are not worth a nickel.

I like how they keep trying to improve the casino and how they fixed the parking issue, which was a main problem, in my opinion. You have to play so many credits to get free parking. You re swipe your card to get the parking. I like that they give you the buffet and free play, unlike MGM. They are updating the carpet, which is nice. They add new games often.

Visiting from out of state and stopped in for a few. I found it to be clean and well managed. The amount of security around was a little weird if you are familiar with Vegas casinos. It made me wonder if this is not the safest area. Game play was fine as they had slots, tables, and sports betting. Not a large casino or destination draw, but definitely worth it if you want to fill a few hours of entertainment.

MGM Northfield Park is a rock 'n' roll-themed venue with a lively atmosphere, offering classic American dishes and burgers. Originally built for car racing in 1934, it has evolved into one of Ohio's most popular horse racing sites, hosting over 200 harness racing nights annually. The Center Stage hosts impressive concerts, providing excellent visibility and organized staff. While the payouts may not always be the highest, visitors appreciate the wonderful atmosphere and friendly employees.
I think the pictures speak for themselves. But this place is great! The bartenders working neon room are beyond FANTASTIC and FRIENDLY! This is in 2 months. Got to know your machines! Overall a clean environment. Security also has treated us very well!

MGM is a nice casino, although I never win a thing. Many slot machines to choose from and a couple of different food options are available. They do have smoking rooms/areas. The restaurant there was good and the staff was very nice. It's a fun time if you have some extra money to spend.

Great concert venue!PROs:COMFORT: Thick cushion seats.ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS: Cool on a hot day and warm on a cold day.AUDIO: I sat in section 3, row H to right of stage near the speakers, but the sound was not deafening, though I could hear everything. The only improvement they could make for us seniors is to put subtitles or closed caption on the bottom of the large screens.VISUALS: I don't think there is a bad seat in the house, but in addition to the stage they have large screens to the left and right that offer close ups and pictures of the entertainers when they were younger.PARKING: Plenty of parking that is free.REFRESHMENTS: They will let you bring bottled drinks into the venue, but you have to put the liquid into a cup they provide.CONs:Expensive: To eat at the casino, it's usually forty dollars per person. However, you could always eat before you get to the concert at another place outside the casino.

MGM Center Stage. It was a great place to see a concert. BTO played last night, and they were fantastic. Guess Who songs mixed in with BTO made for a fun night for an old fogie like me. Randy was the only original member, and his son, Tal Bachman even played his hit song. I missed seeing Fred Turner and his vocals, but it was still a nostalgic trip for me. Had second row seats, so I have to give 5 stars. The venue is outstanding.

I saw a concert, it was great, but the seating is horrible. The seats are just folding chairs, and the floor is flat, so it's hard to see the stage. Headlands Beach State Park in Mentor, Ohio boasts the state's largest beach along Lake Erie, stretching nearly a mile. The park offers a diverse experience with its sandy beach, nearby nature preserves, and architectural gems like the Wildwood Cultural Center & Park. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, swimming, birdwatching at the marshes, and exploring hiking trails. The park is popular year-round for families and individuals seeking a wholesome natural experience by the lake.
This is an expansive park with a deep beachfront. There are many picnic tables and restrooms. Left of the entrance, is where most of the beach access is, along with several parking areas. This place was built with large crowds in mind. If you venture to the right and head to the end, you'll reach a large tree filled grass part of the park. Toward the beach and still to the right, is a sandy trail that leads to the beach. There is also a cove on the other side of the stone barrier, where boats can pull into. Along the trail, you can head to the left on an adjoining trail. We've seen large sand sculptures in the summer and there seem to be activities throughout that time of year. Every time we go, its a different adventure. Bear and Cosmo have been enjoying this place for many years, as well as us. 🏖🏞

I spent my birthday 🎂 at the Headlands Beach. It was a nice day. The beach and surrounding areas were clean. The only problem that my sister and I had was walking 🚶♀️ in the sand to get close to the water. It was so loose and deep that it was very difficult to walk in. Also, it would have been a plus to have the snack bar open, especially on a weekend.

Any State Park that has a nice little trail to an iconic lighthouse on a breakwater is 5 star worthy in my book. But Headlands also has the northern terminus for the Buckeye Trail on it's grounds as well as a nice sandy beach and sand dunes to enjoy for any Great Lake lover.

Cold and rainy when I was there just to check it out. Beach had to be over 200 feet wide. Must have just cleaned the sand somehow because no trash or drift wood. Toward the west end there were piles of drift wood and some trash. My guess they just haven't gotten that far yet. Love to go back in the summer and check it out again.

Beautiful place to come enjoy the waves from Lake Erie. Nicely manicured beach and clean grounds. Lots of parking and area to enjoy. Nice bathrooms are plentiful in the area. Love the lighthouse views and bird watching in the area as well!

Great beach, but sadly you would see people smoking even with their kids aside, spitting and burying cigarette butts in the sand. Took a photo of these people, hope they feel shamed for their behavior!

Probably one of the nicest beaches in Ohio. Great place to watch the sunset, which by the way is the park’s closing time. Word of caution for swimmers, there is an intermittent under tow, Do not swim alone! Do your homework ahead of time on how to be safer in the water.

This is a beautiful beach park. No matter what you want to do, you can probably do it there. You can have a cook out, swim, walk a flat paved path, and it is also pet friendly. That is just the main part of the park You can walk in the connected Dunes preserve part of the park. It has beautiful views and is very peaceful. The whole park is peaceful, When I have a lot of stuff on my mind it is the perfect place to just chill, take in the beauty of the place and sort things out. Even in the fall and winter you can find peace and beauty there.

It's a lovely place to take your family on a summer afternoon. There is a very dedicated staff, that takes care of the park to make sure the guests have a safe and rewarding experience. It is a great place to make family memories that will last a lifetime.

Beautiful. But long walk to the water with one having lung issues and one having leg issues. We will leave it to those who can manage it. But beautiful.

Headlands is my hometown beach. It’s a beautiful location and for the most part a lot of really nice people frequent this beach. One of the things that are a must see is the yearly sand sculptures contest. They stand for sometimes months after being built. It’s one of the coolest things to see up close and the artists are free to create whatever they like. One year there was a giant baby Trump. Definitely put it in your summer plans to see them if you can!The sand is meh… somewhat dirty… very harsh on your feet. Nothing like a nice Florida beach, that’s for sure but we are definitely blessed to have this one in our back yard none the less.

Great park. Nice size beach. Plenty of space to set up on the shore. Many picnic tables. There are really two main areas. The bird rehab area and the public beach area. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Mainly due to the bird area. There is a playground closer to the entrance.Water normally is pretty warm by late July. You do need to watch the waves and watch out for rip currents.Restrooms are fairly clean for being at the beach. Toilets flush.
