
Sometimes it becomes necessary to cancel your order. It maybe because you mistakenly placed order for the wrong item, or you found a better option just after placing your order, or you suddenly discovered the item you ordered isn’t the right item for you. Whatever your reason may be, you certainly can cancel your order on GearBest provided that the item has not been shipped and you will receive full refund.
If your order has been shipped, unfortunately you can no longer cancel it. You can only apply for a return when you receive the item, but note that GearBest return policy may apply.
For item that is yet to be shipped, it can either be paid or unpaid and we will look at how to cancel your order when you are yet to make payment and how to cancel when you have already paid.
How to Cancel Unpaid GearBest Order
If you haven’t paid for your order yet and you want to cancel it or remove it from you shopping cart, it is pretty simple to do that. All you have to do is to head over to “My Account” section when you are logged in to GearBest and scroll down to My Orders.
Under your order section you will see a list of all of your orders (both paid and unpaid). Find and click the reverse arrow icon next to the order you want to cancel and your order will be canceled.
How to Cancel Paid Order
If however you want to cancel your order when you have made payment, you will need to fill out a GearBest support ticket as soon as possible by going to the GearBest support center.
When filling your support ticket, choose “Unsent order inquiries” under Question Type and in the next tab, choose to Cancel my order (Not dispatched only). Then go on and fill in the rest of the details which include your order number, subject, any additional information you need to add, etc.
Once your ticket has been reviewed, the GearBest support team will cancel your order from their own end and issue you full refund.
Frequently Asked Questions About Cancelling GearBest Order
Can I cancel my order when it has been dispatched (shipped)?
As we already mentioned earlier, your can’t cancel your order once it has been shipped.
Why does my order still say “processing” after cancellation?
There is nothing to worry about here. It simply means that your order cancellation is still being processed and it usually take a day or two for order cancellation to be completed.
Will I get a notification after submitting the cancellation request?
Yes. GearBest support team will email you to the address registered in your account withing 1-2 days after you have submitted your ticket.
How long will it take before I get my refund?
This depends on how you want to get your refund. The processing time varies for different available options.
- Refund to your GearBest Wallet: if you choose this option, you will get your refund withing 24 hours.
- Refund to PayPal account: refunds via PayPal account usually take about 48 hours to arrive your account.
- Refunds to credit cards: it can take anywhere from 7 to 14 business days to arrive your credit card. The exact time of arrival depends on your credit card provider.
